I really like this product it’s easy to use produces good sound. I really like this product it’s easy to use produces good sound, though i am not a sound expert. The bluetooth has good range. I found it required very little charging. The volume buttons are a bit fiddly to adjust. Overall i was very pleased with it.
Ridiculously good for such a compact little unit. Edit: just spotted the price for this (05/01/2016) is over £50 – i paid no where near that, closer to £30 when i bought it. Original five star review was based in part on value for money so revised down to four to reflect that. I bought this as a bit of a last minute gift idea for my daughter’s birthday and it actually became her favourite present. She loves it and it’s understandable why. Now of course audiophiles will polish their gold connectors and turn their nose up as they drop the needle on their retro record player but i say pah. To you and you snobby ways, that’s not what a device like this is for. Pump it up too loud and have a song with heavy bass and yes it will burp along a bit and sure it’s not going to be as good as a high end system like a sonos or whatever but when you hear how good these actually sound for so little money you start to wonder how some of the high end systems actually get away with charging what they do. There is plenty of bass up quite significant volume and there is good coverage across the whole tonal range. Speaking of volume it does go a lot louder than i expected it to be to the point where i have done the typical dad thing and shouted up the stairs for her to turn it down – she ignores me of course and rightfully so.
I brought this speaker for my ps4, as no sound was coming out of the tv. I thought because the ps4 and the speaker was bluetooth that it would connect. But unfortunately it didn’t. So i brought an adapter (toslink to rca) and connected the digital optical cable to my ps4 and the power supply to my ps4 front usb port. Once that was done i connected the 3. 5mm audio cable from the speaker to the converter. But you can’t turn the volume down, unless you do it manually with the controller for the game. Which is absolutely fine as long as it’s working. I connected my phone through bluetooth to the speaker and it was amazing. You could skip tracks and pause the song with one click. And i received this product at a discounted price for a honest and unbiased opinion.
Great portable speaker able to take your calls. In the box you get the speaker, a micro usb charging cable, 3. 5 mm audio cable and some instructions. The speaker comes in numerous colours, mine was black. The case is made of a plastic, with a smooth finish. The forward-facing metal net is coloured the same as the covering and has heqagobal shapes engraved. The top of the device is where the buttons are located (skip, play, pause answer call etc), also the back is where the line in and out, usb and the power on button are located. The bottom has 2 rubber pads (anti-slip). The charging cable is a normal usb-micro type that will plug into your computer’s usb port or a mains powered usb port.

Good speaker all the features you could want (except one). For the money it gives a real good sound and let’s be honest at this size it’s purpose is portable music not concert hi fidelity. As well as this speaker i regularly connect to a friend’s braven 570. Overall i prefer tecevo for looks, control buttons on the top and speed of bluetooth connection, (even without nfc as i’m an apple user). One feature the braven has which this speaker doesn’t is a usb output which if charged allows you to use the unit as an emergency battery boost for your phone. Which i think is pretty cool if your carrying the speaker anyway. But still prefer this speaker overall.
A really nice little speaker that does exactly what you want it to do. It looks very smart with a kind of diamond grill pattern on the front. It is very light and easy to carry and use. It is quite compact at aprox. 155mm x 50mm x 55mm (l x w x h)most importantly, however, it has a really nice tone to it with a good mid and bass sound – so often missed on speakers nowadays. I connected with my phone effortlessly i was playing music in seconds. Control of the music is done via your phone although you can pause it through the controls on top of the speaker. It will even act as a hands free unit whilst you phone is connected. I used this whilst sitting outside around a campfire and it was just the right volume to be able to listen to comfortably.
Not bad except for loud boomy pairing “boop” noise. The sound quality is about what i would expect. Battery life appears reasonable but the most annoying this is the very loud “boop” it makes when turns on/off pairs unpairs etc. This doesn’t seem to be affected by volume levels ie. I have volume low, it pares “boop” comes out of the speaker very loud, very distorted and very annoying. You could say i’m being picky, but it’s the little things like that that make this ok for 20 quid but no way near worth the supposed unaccounted price.
