Panasonic SC-ALL05EB-W Powerful Multi Room Portable and Waterproof Speaker, this item is great

This device has really grown on me to the point that i recommend it. I tend to use it for 2 key purposes:1) as a ‘put it anywhere’ (within wi-fi range) radio. It gives great quality radio without having to mess about with an aerial. It does take up to a minute to fire up from ‘off’ and sometimes i have to change radio channels back and forth to finally get the one i want to work?.The allplay radio app is a bit flakey, but you only need it to set up the 6 pre-sets (which i’ve not changed since setting them). 2) as an extra speaker for my panasonic hc-1020 which is compact but lacks a bit of oomph. Together this gives good stereo music quality for a small footprint. The panasonic app is nothing special but does everything i need. Had a few issues getting both devices onto the wi-fi network – not sure it would be so great on a 2. 4ghz only network (i had to force it onto 5ghz to get it to stream from my nas).

Although i didn’t make my final purchase on amazon (wouldn’t arrive on time for xmas), i thought i’d leave a review since there’s none for the all05 model. Overall found this to be a brilliant speaker and exactly what we wanted it for. Works great directly from spotify and really good quality. Chose this over the sonos play 1 as it had touch buttons for the radio. Once the radio is set up the touch buttons are very useful and definitely worth it. It always seems to stay connected and reconnects after switching off. No problems at all yet but will update if there are. Setup – really easy, plugged in, downloaded the app and started playing. Just pressed the wps button on the router so there was no issue getting connected. Sound – i’m no expert so i can’t talk technically but it plays music and it sounds great.

Well built & they sound great. The battery life however is woeful. They discharge on standby within 8 hours. As for playtime you will be lucky to get 4 hours of musc. There are better value units out there. If you want portability then look else where.

“SUPER SOUNDING 🔈🔉🔊
, Great value
, Great little speaker

I like this a lot the way i use it, which nowadays is just as a bluetooth speaker. After having had it a year, i still use it regularly. It has good, clear, loud sound. Bluetooth connectivity is reliable, and the fact it is waterproof is a nice addition. I like the touchscreen buttons on the top, which are smooth and neat. You can’t really use it with wet hands though- the touchscreen doesn’t respond properly. However i haven’t much used it for its internet-connected functions. If you want to use it as the hub for an interconnected set of smart speakers, it’s probably great. But if you aren’t into that, it is much less impressive.

It’s the second one i’ve bought. Great sound for a little speaker. Can feel bit expensive but they really do sound great. I guess it depends if you want great sound or cheap sound. You can use spotify deezer or because of the bluetooth feature if you are an amazon prime customer you can stream from amazon music also. Would recommend great value.

I already have this speaker in black purchased this white one for bathroom to complete multi room set up. These speakers are great if you have the panasonic all system, i daresay that there are better performing speakers if you want to lump out great sums of money, but these sound and work seamlessly together, being able to change them to left and right channel stereo channels is easy via panasonic app. When used in the same room as panasonic sc-hc1020 the room filling crystal clear sound is amazing. When used as a stand alone speaker it is very capable of filling room with rich sound. My only negative comment about the all05 speaker would be that when you use this speaker as portable on battery power alone you will lose power output from 20 watts (10 per channel) down to 8 watts (4 per channel)overall would recommend this product due to its versatility.

The labyrinthine panasonic app/wifi set-up instructions are not especially user-friendlyto a technophobe like myself but mrs wolf lent a hand and things went swimmingly, although to be honest pairing my mac airbook and spotify premium by bluetooth isreally the only way i’ll be using it. It has a 10m bluetooth range and placing the devicein the kitchen and the mac in the lounge (about 5m away) achieved a good connection. The bass response is earthy and stereo separation adequate. (we have a bose soundlink mini ii in the boudoir whose sound quality is considerably better). The ‘waterproof’ claim will doubtless be useful to those who might use it in the bathroom. The build seems pretty solid and makes it less likely that tigs the curious cat will tip it over. Overall a decent product but i’m not quite as excited about it as i had hoped to be.

Heavier than i thought it would be, but it is not a a big issue. I am not brilliant with new technology, so had a a whizz of a family member to help me set this up. Having said that, seeing how simple it was, i could have done it myself. Connected via bluetooth and it is ready to use. Sound quality is good and good capacity too, with up to 9 hours playback time. Useful to have rechargeable battery facilities too. I was particularly attracted to it as it is waterproof and this will be mainly for bathroom us – makes having a bath very indulgent.

This item is great as it has a radio and can be come wireless so you can use it in the garden.

The panasonic sc-all05eb-k is a bluetooth waterproof speaker that packs a lot of punch. First of all the sound quality is incredible no matter what was played. Unfortunately i couldn’t just play sound from my podcast app directly, it was required that i select it via the companion app; this also prevents it from being used for phone calls and adds an unnecessary process i feel that users will dislike. When i played music i enabled the ‘voice’ button on top of the device, this brought vocals forward and dropped surrounding instruments, i feel that this feature would be incredibly useful when listening to sport commentary. I successfully tested the bluetooth and decided to connect my device to my home network (initially created using my home pc). When i firsted tested this feature i was able to stream music from my home network, but once i attempted to connect a second time the device was unable to connect at all. It was frustrating that i was unable to connect to my network but worse that the speaker doesn’t include an aux or usb connection. The app can be difficult to use at first but does help users with useful tips which do come in handy when using this speaker. I previously read a review which stated that the user was unable to download the companion app using their kindle “despite being an android app”, but kindle doesn’t run android; certainly not a reason to degrade this product. Overall i feel that the panasonic sc-all05eb-k is an incredible sounding device but unfortunately falls due to it’s lack of user experience.

More and more frequently i find myself using my phone for listening to music and ignoring purpose built fruit-themed devices that i have purchased for playing music. Usually this is done with the use of headphones, but sometimes i want to share what i am listening to with others and often this means relying on the speaker built into my phone which sadly is not the best way to experience music. A small, portable but powerful speaker is what i wanted and this is exactly what i gotbluetooth connection is easy and seems reliable. I’ve not had any problems with my phone connecting but i’ve yet to try other devices (e. My laptop or pc) so i can’t tell you that it will work perfectly for you. But being able to listen to whatever music service i want is brilliant. The speaker is rechargeable and the battery seems to last a decent time. It’s probably a touch heavier than i would like, but that’s something i am willing to compromise on for the quality of the sound. It’s apparently waterproof although i have yet to test this myself. But it gives me the confidence to take it out in the british summer without having to panic if we get a sudden downpour.

Really pleased with this speaker, sounds great and the wireless option is very convenient. Also if you have other compatible panasonic speakers the link up is really good. Instructions for setting up could be clearer for those of us who aren’t very ‘techie’ but the panasonic customer services were very helpful. One thing to be aware of is that whether switched on or off the battery is in use as it’s connected to the network (apparently), so you must keep it on charge when not using the battery as it will be drained when you come to use it as i found out the hard way.

This functions as our speaker for the kitchen – and is much liked by my wife (who uses it mostly for the radio) and my children (who use it mostly for bluetoothing their devices to for music when they are cooking). It gives out pretty good sound – both in volume and quality. It seems sufficiently well made too, which is great given that it is meant to be portable. Although for us it stays mostly plugged in, but i like the fact that it is rechargeable and we can take it outside, where the odd drop of rain won’t harm it – due to its waterproof design. The radio function is great, and the app allows you to pull internet radio stations from all over the world. Yet we tend to keep with the 6 presets that i’ve programmed. So what are the negatives?- it frustrated the life out of me setting it up. – it requires you to use its own app for playing music to it other than by bluetooth. I had been hoping to use it over the network. – the apps are clunky to use.

Panasonic SC-ALL6EB-K 40 W Powerful Multi-Room Speaker- – Wireless speaker system

I had high expectations of this speaker given that panasonic have a long and impressive history of mid-fi kit and that they were asking over two hundred for each unit. Unfortunately this just hasn’t delivered on promise and i won’t be investing in a set of them to scatter round my home. Firstly there is the insurmountable problem of the bluetooth streaming format. This certainly isn’t panasonic’s fault but even the latest incarnations of the codec are lossy. Bluetooth was never conceived as a hifi link and if you have experience of either cabled or pcm streamed audio you will notice the artefacts of compression. It’s not a problem if you have bought one of the many £40-£80 rechargeable bluetooth speakers where you can only be impressed by the punch they pack but for a mains powered unit of well over £200 it just seems limiting. The app didn’t wow me either and i found it just as effective to pair my devices directly and use other apps on them already. Once connected, the stepping of the volume control isn’t very fine either – it’s hard to achieve a quiet ambient sound as they go from zero to moderately loud in one jump. I freely admit that using one unit doesn’t give me the flavour of the integrated system but equally i doubt it could be much more than the sum of its parts. On the positive side, these are clearly well made, stable and robust.

Compact, solid and relatively heavy for its size, this panasonic mains powered wireless speaker certainly delivers. There is more volume available than one would require for normal listening in an average size room, and the sound quality is good. Speech is clear and understandable, while music is punchy with surprisingly good base (and not boomy) considering the speakers size. Compared to my existing creative soundblaster roar bluetooth speaker this is far better. Set up is easy, even if it does seem a little confusing at the time. By that i mean that during the set up process it did not appear to be going according to plan, but when completed and i pressed the bluetooth button to connect all was okay. Once connected it is easy to play from whatever you want on your device or chosen music streaming service (says its compatible with several music services) through the speakers, it would appear so whether or not you connect through the panasonic app (free download), and unlike some of bluetooth speakers you are not restricted to a single source such as spotify. It will also continue to play from your selected source even when you move to another app, for example if you are playing music from youtube and then open your web browser you tube will continue to play rather than cut out. It will also connect to internet radio when using internet radio app (i have not tried this). It can also connect to a compatible panasonic home theatre audio system, using two units as rear surround speakers (again not tried).

This is a well made and robust speaker. Stylish and reassuringly hefty. Its about 10in long and 6 in tall. Instructions are relatively clear but i did struggle a little in getting it up and operating. I found it all a little confusing. The more technically minded should have no problems. I did get it operating after re-reading the instructions. Operation is quite easy once you have it up and running. The app could be better designed but it is functional. Sound is excellent, probably the best i have heard from any speaker. Here are the specifications for the Panasonic SC-ALL6EB-K 40 W Powerful Multi-Room Speaker-:

  • Make sure this fits

  • Play music from almost any source all controlled from the Panasonic music streaming App
  • Distortion-free and clear sound from two woofers and two tweeters
  • Bluetooth wireless technology
  • Send music from Smartphone/tablet to other all connected speakers

My initial impression upon opening the box was that this is a very nicely designed speaker:- good build quality- works over ethernet, wifi and bluetooth which is nice- feather touch buttons (volume, wifi, etc)- can be placed horizontally or vertically- i need to confirm but looks like it has a screw fixing for stand/wall mounting- setting up was okay – the instructions could be improved; it took a couple of minutes using an iphone app to get it working- iphone application design is fine although a bit fiddly at times- internet radio was easy to set up but needed a separate application; i would have thought that 1 application for everything would be tidier- can be used as part of a set to form a surround speaker system- sound quality good. If we compare against sonos play:1:- sonos doesn’t have bluetooth- play 1 can only be placed vertically- play 1 sounds better- sonos application is easier to use- play 1 has better integration to music streaming services. And if we compare against bose soundtouch:- bose more expensive- bose sounds better- bose connectivity isn’t as good (to streaming services, etc). Overall as a standalone speaker i thought this product was good. But if you’re looking for something more multi-room/flexible then sonos is a better option.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • Works really well
  • Great Value for Money
  • Awesome speaker

There’s been a spate of ‘wireless’ (ie wifi or bluetooth streaming) speakers in recent years giving users the opportunity to immerse their home with music from room to room as a whole or play different in isolation as long as you’ve bought into the same system. Sonos is the market leader, but panasonic have tried very hard to compete with their ‘all’ collection of which the all 6 is a multifunctional part. This is not a portable bluetooth speaker, if that’s what your looking for, this is not it, if you want something a bit more, then consider giving panasonic a go. Opening the box you get a sense of minimalist style, this speaker in white has a streamlined touch but with sleek curves, pressure pads instead of buttons (bar the two preset radio stations) and a sense of ‘solidity’ it’s a hefty piece of equipment in size but doesn’t scream so in appearance. I prefer this soft look in white, in black it may have come across more strongly, perhaps even a bit hal. The one thing you must be aware of here is that this is a mains powered system, which means wherever you are planning to use it, it will need a dedicated power source. This may be a change for those used to portable bluetooth systems, this is a serious bit of kit intending on revolutionising the standard hifi not a handy reasonably resilient speaker for casual loitering say in the garden or to sing along in the shower, of which there are some great choices, but this is not one. Plus the lead is really short so be careful to plan for it living near a plug. Indeed this is not really a bluetooth speaker, even though it has that capacity. The intent with the system is to connect it to your wifi and use that (a better and stronger source) to play your music from phones, tablets, computers, or through the all hifi (or dongle like attachment to existing wired kit) or films via the all-sound bar.

Like how good it sounds and that it doesnt take up much room. The app for me works well for playing music but still getting to grips with it. The con to it is my mate has taken over my speaker via the app 50 miles away. Not sure how but did not know you could do that. If you like the chance of some random music picked by your mate deffo buy.

This is a review for the sc-all6this hefty speaker weighs in at around 8lbs it fills a space roughly 10” x 5” x 6”, so it’s also quite compact. The controls are a series of touch sensitive, labelled areas on a strip along the front top. Some of them even have tiny leds hidden under the speaker fabric to let you know something is happening. They are so well hidden i found them difficult to make out. The speaker top, sides, and back are covered with a ‘leatherette’ type material; and the front by speaker fabric. The ends are finished with a brushed aluminium trim. There are innocuous rubber feet on the bottom and on one end so the speaker can be stood vertically as well as horizontally. It would make a good resident for the end of a bookshelf. The controls, from left to right, are ‘1’ & ‘2’ for preset stations (i used tunein), volume up and volume down, something called rear mode, aux (used in conjunction with the aux in 3. 5mm socket at the back of the speaker), bluetooth on/off, net (used in conjunction with ethernet port at rear of speaker), and an on/off switch.

The panasonic all6 comes nicely packaged with a full information booklet as well as a handy quick start guide which made the ‘box to music’ process really straightforward. The unit is well put together and feels of good quality. The connectivity is mostly (more on that in a moment) excellent with options for wifi/bluetooth and aux connections. The bluetooth connection was smooth and a handy way to connect music or podcasts to test the sound quality of the all6. In that regard, i was extremely impressed – the sound knocks the socks off my previous (similarly sized but certainly a budget model) speaker i was using up to very recently. The sound is rich and pops out of the speaker in a really impressive way. I first tested ‘chelsea dagger’, which sounded excellent, before moving on to a mix of classic rock songs that were equally impressive. The set up guide prompts the downloading of an app on your ios or android smart phone. The app itself is fine, if a little clunky in places, but my (slight) disappointment with the unit as a whole relates to the connectivity that i was initially so impressed with. The spec states that the all6 is compatible with spotify and ‘other music services’ but there is, sadly, no way that i could find to stream across my network to the specified speaker directly from deezer using the full functionality that the system is designed in mind with.

I have the older version of these speakers (all-3) and like them a lot. These new ones add so many new features, it makes them hard to fault. They look quite nice, have very good sound quality especially at this price – clear with good bass. They support several music streaming services directly so tell it which spotify playlist you want and they play directly. You can group several speakers together and even set two as left and right channels if you want. The latest features mean you can now connect to one speaker via bluetooth and re-stream that sound through all of the connected/grouped speakers (even the older ones). Apparently (not tested it yet) the speaker will also re-stream for the line-in via the rear port, this basically means that you can use any sound source and stream it through your home – have amazon or apple music now it’s no problem. Finally, there’s a couple more buttons on the top of the unit which allows you to preset 2 internet radio stations so no app is needed to listen to them. All of these features make these speakers hard not to recommend. I have 3x all-3, 2x all-6 (this one) and an all-1.

This isn’t my first panasonic speaker but it’s not as good as the one i ordered before it. I recently got a yamaha system and i much prefer their wireless speakers as not only is the acoustic quality far superior but also they look and work better. This takes its time connecting to the network and also doesn’t turn off (i mean fully, not standby) instead turning itself back on from time to time unless i remember to switch it off at the mains. It doesn’t seem to have caught up with the advances in technology since the last panasonic speaker release and in fact has degraded.

==getting my rant out the way==i have an existing panasonic allplay speaker network, so this expanded this nicely. However, having been badly burnt in the past by panasonic, and the faults in it’s first generation sc-allx units, and their whitewashing of the problem, it’s really hard to want to have anything to do with panasonic ever again. But hey, i am essentially locked in via existing technology purchases, so have little choice in that matter. ==overview==this is essentially a reworking of the fatally flawed all3 wireless speaker, adding 2nd generation features like the preset buttons, and restreaming from aux-in and bluetooth. All these features really take this unit to the next level and the 2 preset buttons are a game changer, meaning once setup, you can program a couple of common radio sources, meaning a much more instant audio gratification, even if there is only two presets. ==sound quality==the sound quality from this unit is great, and unlike sonos, allplay supports 24/96 uncompressed flac, means you really can throw hd audio at this and it sounds great, you really won’t be disappointed by the sound quality. The other area in which allplay excels, is in room-room latency, which is substantially lower, meaning better sync between speakers (and in my experience, much less change of loss of sync). Allplay really is the platform of choice for people that care about music quality. And this speaker delivers a great build off the qualcomm allplay hardware platform. ==features (as a multi-room speaker)==by far the best feature is the presets, meaning once setup, you may rarely need to use the app.

Ok, it isn’t the market leader but overall i do like the sound quality of the panasonic and it does link in with spotify for great results. The temptation with speakers is to accept the quality of the alexa mono speaker or pay big bucks for the sonos. The panasonic does have the range to blast out the music through the room or house without noticeable distortion and is certainly not a wallflower. Looks stylish enough, the app that panasonic support the speaker with has thankfully changed from woeful to ok so you can group speakers together. Worth hunting out but they are getting rarer to find – good option.

I’ve already owned the all-8 and i’m a great fan of the panasonic home range of speakers. The sound quality is brilliant for the bottom line of the product, and the flexibility of how you can extend the system. It’s so straightforward to set up with the panasonic app. I use android nougat and had no issues with stepping through the setup process. The speaker appears to be on constant standby, as when you try to output to it from spotify even when i thought it was off, it turned itself back on. For me this is fine, but the power-conscious of those amongst you may therefore want to remember to turn this off at the wallit’s a good-looking unit and doesn’t take up too much space on the sideboard. A brilliant addition to your home media setup.

Not top of the range sound, in comparison to hi-fi separates and floor standing speakers, but for the cost and ease of use with a phone (for the kids) these are ideal. Decent bass, mid and top range. Surprisingly ‘fills’ the living room with sound. No problem in a smaller room. Not as tinny as other, smaller portable speakers. I would highly recommend as value for money. Never had issues with wifi or bluetooth connectivity. Not the easiest of apps to learn but reliable and got up and running with music from unpacking to listening via a bluetooth phone in 30 minutes. So good the kids each have one.

I am reviewing the panasonic sc-all6eb-k 40 w powerful multi-room speaker- black. Here are my thoughts:^^ the main thing i wanted this for was so i could connect this panasonic speaker to my alexa, and i am pleased to say that works really well. Just go to the alexa app to set up the connection, or press the bluetooth button on the speaker so it’s in search mode and ask alexa to connect for you. Having alexa connect means now i can keep the speaker in the kitchen and listen to music there without bothering anyone else in the room where alexa sits (in my case the living room). However, she does turn off (to save power) if not used for a while, which can be a bit annoying for alexa users. She also grabs the audio output when it connects, so if i connect to another bluetooth device she will disconnect from the previous device. ^^ the above point leads me on nicely to the fact that the panasonic does have allplay streaming abilities, meaning it can connect to this and also re-stream to other allplay enabled devices. So if you’ve got money to spend you can buy another sc-all6 speaker, or choose a different one (the top of the range sc-all9) and then you will be able to play the same music the same time in different rooms. ^^ this speaker includes a touch area with preset internet radio channels, volume control, rear mode (for rear surround sound), aux, bluetooth and standby on and off switch. ^^ in addition to bluetooth, this also has the ability to connect to your home network (the net button) by entering your wps pairing code.

This panasonic multi-room speaker has a good build standard and i like the minimalist design. All the information you need to start using the speaker is inside the box and the set-up is quite straightforward. The speaker is compatible with bluetooth, wifi and has an aux, auxiliary port, option which is handy for older devices without bluetooth. Both the bluetooth and aux options are simple to use, you will need to buy a double ended aux cable, and offer consistently good sound quality with no discernible static and plenty of volume. The other option available is an app which downloads onto apple or android smart phones and allows music to be streamed directly from phone, via spotify playlist for instance, to a speaker, or speakers, anywhere in the home. I’m much impressed with the bluetooth and aux options which give me plenty of choice and i can even connect to my windows10 laptop or listen to playlists directly from my ancient ipod nano. The only ‘niggle’ is that the speaker relies on mains power and needs to plugged in at all time when in use. The electrical cord is really short so you’ll need an extension lead unless you can site the speaker next to a plug socket. Only a minor setback and all-in-all i think this is a great piece of kit.

With the large & assorted range of wireless / bluetooth speakers currently available it is becoming harder to find features that set speakers apart – apart from questionable sound quality from the bottom end of the market that is. Most will connect via bluetooth, many via wireless and some have lan or aux input options – well as a start, the panasonic all6 has all of the above features, and more. Straight out of the box, using the relatively clear instructions it connected via wireless using a simple wps option on my router – easy . Within 1 minute i was streaming from my spotify premium account. Sound quality is clear & distinct, as you should rightly expect at this level of price & from a reputable manufacturer such as panasonic. Having followed the instructions to connect via bluetooth, i was, in a similar amount of time, then listening to music from my own selection on my phone ( android huawei p9 ) – again, no issues in use or set up, apart from a slightly different sound at top end of the volume limit. While listening to some jet / killers / audio bullys and the soundtrack to toy story watched on my phone. I haven’t used the lan or aux connections, but wouldn’t foresee any issues. As mentioned before, features that set the selection of available speakers apart from each other are few. But the all6 has a very handy one – presets.

This was easy to set up, with clear ,concise instructions provided in the box. The wifi connection has been stable ( a huge advantage of bluetooth) and when i got the hang of the app i found it a breeze to use. Sound quality is excellent, crystal clear even when turned up high. The speaker supports all major streaming services but having a pretty large collection of good old fashioned cd’s which i have transferred on to my various devices i have mainly being these- very successfully. The look is simple and uncluttered enabling the speaker to blend into the background when not in use. I have a couple of other panasonic speakers and was able to add this to the network easily, giving me the chance to have music around the house.

The panasonic range of allplay speakers has come good with this second generation version of the all3. I have a couple of those plus an all1 and although i liked them (especially once i had set up the pair of all3’s to play separate stereo channels – which absolutely changes the sound from slightly muddled boom box to beautifully constructed sound stage), i have to admit they were a bit limited and temperamental to use. I was alerted to the all6 via the update to the panasonic music streaming app, (which was an awful piece of work in its first incarnation), when it suddenly included bluetooth (re)streaming. I was keen to get my hands on an all6 for that purpose – but couldn’t really justify the cost until i got one for just over a hundred quid from amazon warehouse. I had intended to replace one of the all3 with an all6, but panasonic in their wisdom have changed the design so that the front of the speaker is now cloth covered rather than metal mesh. The sound is the same – so it still works well as half of the stereo pair but it looks a little different. Initial set up was problematic –the android app makes it simpler than the first version – but i had to do a re-set before it accepted the router password. Since that small hiccup it has behaved flawlessly. My current set up now includes 5 allplay speakers which play perfectly in sync. I have a large open plan space and can now fill it with music from all directionsthe bluetooth works well and you can set it in favour of increased range or fidelity.

I brought 2 of these to add to my panasonic all70 sound bar, they connected easily to my sound bar with bluetooth and act as surround speakers. The improvement to my sound bar is amazing full surround effect. They are also very good as a bluetooth speaker connecting to my iphone sound is amazing good bass and volume from such a small speaker the panasonic music app isnt very good for streaming though.

Panasonic SC-HTB488EBK 200 W Soundbar – Great value for money!

This was a christmas gift for my husband, and the sound quality if fantastic, and so was the price. If you want a sound bar buy this, easy to install and makes the sound from the tv or bluetooth music fantastic.

This soundbar is a replacement for the one i bought with my samsung tv a couple of years ago, i was never happy with it. Both had a sub woofer, but this panasonic soundbar is excellent. The difference is quite noticeable, particularly with the sub woofer. There are a few preset sound settings which subtly allow more voice or music to be heard. It was very easy and straightforward to set up, i used the hdmi (arc) cable connection from the tv to the soundbar rather than an optical cable, but whatever is your preference. I also like the way it switches on and off with the tv on/off, not sure if that works with every tv. Yes, well pleased with this purchase.

This was purchased to compliment my new panasonic vierra 4k tv tx-65dx902b as it supports 4k pass through. It is supplied in an extremely large box which is mainly packaging. Once opened the soundbar is a smart and quite compact item along with the subwoofer. Very easy to set up two power leads and a hdmi cable (not supplied) to connect from the soundbar to the arc enabled hdmi socket of the tv. As soon as i switched it on, a brief pause as the tv volume muted, the soundbar system activated. I was then able to control the volume using the tv remote control. There is also a small remote supplied which you can use to change the mode amongst other things, but you need to get up close to the soundbar to read the digital display. The sound is exhilarating and totally brings to life anything on the screen. I was was watching tv at the standard setting and changed to cinema mode to watch a blu-ray film. The sound was fantastic just like being in the movies.

I was undecided on whether to buy this for a while (compared to a few others that were similar priced), but decided i needed it as my new panasonic tv didn’t have great speakers. . And i’m so glad i took the plunge. The sub is so impressive and the sound quality has improved no end. I find the ‘cinema’ setting works best all-round (gaming and films). I trialled it with avengers assemble and it didn’t disappoint :d i have my setup in a large front room with very high ceilings and it fills the room easily. Great value for money too, especially when you consider it works with other devices when wanting to play music.

Great sound bar- after a few hitches when it failed i think now i have sussed how to re tune in. It was bigger than i thought it would be never the less i have managed to hide the wires and the whole effect if very neat.

I used the hdmi cable to attach to the tv as the optical cable with gizmo caused interference with the sky. So easy to set up and it now work with the sky remote. Good depth of sound 🔊 various setting from 3d to movies, pick your favourite.

  • Excellent sounding home cinema experience
  • Brilliant value and sound
  • Clear speech finally!

Broadcast tv sound is often quite awful, especially in some ‘modern’ dramas. The panasonic 690 soundbar provides a range of outputs, so one can find the right mode and settingfor those cases where the actors lack clear enunciation or the sound engineering is poor or sub-standard. Nowadays a good soundbar is essential for tv and the panasonic 690 is a very effective aid. The ‘music’ mode and the subwoofer gives really great musical sound. The ‘stereo’ mode is perfect for older films. The central dialogue speaker really helps improve spoken soundand can be controlled. One criticism: i would prefer a bigger (perhaps less stylish) remote control.

Brilliant sound, probably the best available for the price.

So much better than the sound of my tv. Voices are clearer and music is so much better. I love the bluetooth subwoofer. I don’t know much about soundboards but seems to be very good value for money. Too bad it does not have a mini display to show the sound type and level.

. Ideal as a home theatre system on a budget and to use as a bluetooth speaker for your spotify tunes.

The sound quality is fantastic, so much better than the speakers in the tv. But what really lets this down is the remote control, it’s rubbish, i have to lean forward so i’m about 2 metres from the sound bar. Yes, i’m using the external sensor and i have complained and was sent a replacement remote control.

Excellent across all modes, music especially is fantastic. Expensive, but a country mile ahead of the sony htc sounder / sub it replaced. Dialogue crystal clear and wireless sub is sonically complimentary as opposed to waking the neighbours at the first sight of action. Very pleased, single arc connection from my tv and powers on/off automatically with tv (tested with both old sony and new panasonic tv). Looks great, sounds great and long guarantee from panasonic.

Linked by bluetooth to my flat-screen tv, this sound bar comes with a sub-woofer that, with a 4k tv makes you feel that you are actually taking part in the action on your screen.

Very pleased with the quality and soundit’s very clear with a great bassi highly recommend it to anyonewell worth the money.

Until i got this sound bar i didn’t realize how tinny the sound from my tv was. I’m using the hdmi arc input but it has a optical digital input if you run out of hdmi ports on the tv.

Bought for a second room and sound is ok but so,erik estrada gives strange spoken word issues and not very high volume for music. Also remote whilst i knew was small, is really too small as can drop down side of cushions etc.

I have down sized from a full blown hi fi amp and surround sound equipment and replaced it with the soundbar and subwoofer. Very simple to install and has removed the need for speaker cables, the speakers and the amplifier. So now the sound bar plugs into the arc hdmi socket on the tv and to the power supply with the blue ray and set top box plugged directly to the hdmi 1 and 2 sockets, once the subwoofer has paired automatically it all works when the tv is switched on. No more amplifier settings etc, so much easier.

200W Output

We would have liked a more expensive bar bose or sonos however couldn’t afford it after christmas so bought this. It’s been amazing value for money. Great cinema sound and i’ve had it on super loud for music as well unbelievable sound for the price.

It’s made films & general tv come alive. The lights in the sound bar to indicate if it’s on aren’t particularly visible & it’s not straight forward to see what sound option you have on. The only real use for the remote is to turn it on & adjust the volume without being near the sound bar. Overall though, for the money 8 couldn’t be any happier.

The sound and base is clear, and enhances my gaming experience. Found that using it on tv setting gives it is best clarity.

I like using it both for music and podcasts.

A really good purchase , has transformed the sound quality of our samsung tv.

Superb piece of kit, synced perfectly with my new panasonic tv.

2.1ch Surround Sound

Makes 100% better listening experience. Easy to set up and easy to use.

Amazing sound, i love that the subwoofer is connected via bluetooth with the soundbar so there’s less cables😁.

Fantastic sound bar with decent sound. Make a massive to my tv sound. Additional subwoofer is brilliant for movies and music. You can also connect via bluetooth my phone for music which is a massive bonus. Easy to setup and i ended up hanging it on the wall touch just a couple of minutes to do.

Really pleased with this product.

Terrific sound, somewhat fiddly to set up, but well worth the effort. Neighbours enjoy my movies without having to leave home.

Good price, pretty good sound quality with a decent bass. Miles better than the tv speakers. The controls and lights on the front are really hard to read, but the remote is good and has most adjustments on it. Works well with my panasonic tv, and i can also blue-tooth my phone to it to play music.

Absolutely brilliant, and has transformed our tv’s sound output. Very easy to connect to our panasonic tv and simplicity itself to change the sound settings with the supplied hand controller. The volume and on/off functions can be controlled with the panasonic tv hand controller. Wish we had bought one years ago.

Wireless Sub Woofer

Using this soundbar on our panasonic tv means we can finally hear speech properly on movies and shows on things like netflix. 1 speaker there is one speaker dedicated to speech in movies which means you can actually hear what people are saying in movies. I love that you can use it for a huge bluetooth speaker too its really easy to pair a phone and start playing whatever you want. Build quality and design is pretty good and sound quality sounds really good to someone who is not an audiophile.

Bluetooth wireless Technology.

Panasonic SC-PMX82EB-K True High Resolution : Better sound than expected for mid-range price.

A bit bigger then any compact stereo but totally worth it, the sound is amazing.

Great panasonic stereo with cd player, bluetooth and dab.

Very good performance excellent reproduction my only gripe is the usb does not every thing on my usb sticks.

Great system for the price with a nice rich sound, bass heads will be surprised how much of a punch this little system has. Looks greatsounds greatfuture proof -does everything including streaming from phone over bluetooth.

Good sound quality but really short speaker wires.

Panasonic SC-PMX82EB-K True High Resolution , 120 W 2 CH Micro Wireless Hi-Fi : Nice little stereo with plenty of functions, and a very good sound for the money. I had to turn the bass down 2 steps to remove the booming which greatly improved the sound. Very pleased to be able to play flac files from the usb port as i still prefer to play from memory sticks, though also have tried bluetooth and dab radio, both sounding very good. Output appears to be around 15-20w rms, certainly lower than my denon d-m40 which is a 30wpc rms,so best to ignore the claim of this being a 120w amplifier, that being said, it still sounds a lot better and has more power than most portable bluetooth speakers for around the same price, and not that far behind the denon d-m40 in terms of sound quality and functions. For a main listening source i would suggest spending the extra on a more musical system, but for a kitchen, bedroom etc, it is about as good as you’ll get for the money. Nice looking unit, easy to use remote, nice imaging and soundstage, deep bass and sweet but not shrill tweeter, making most music sound enjoyable.

Good quality for price, great micro system for listening music in the kitchen or living room. But i do not recommend for audiophiles.

I installed this in my kitchen and was not disappointed. The size of the base cones in the speakers are bigger than the average for this price range, hence producing a richer bass. With this coupled with the dyna bass option that can be activated, there is no shortage of low frequencies being richly belted out. As for the higher frequencies, well the speakers have an additional tweeter (to the standard one) to help with these, so you get the satisfying crispiness of the high hat notes too. I would recommend not to turn on the surround sound effect option as this makes the music sound less punchier and more tinnier, with an annoying echo effect. Definitely an excellent system with sound quality a bit better than i expected. When i let a friend hear it, he said it was “too good to waste in a kitchen”.

Nice and neat, with a great sound.

Panasonic SC-PM500DBEB 40W Micro System – Does everything you need!

I was very impressed with the sound quality on this small hifi, crystal clear sounds and amazing depth. The remote control has a lot of functions. The ipod docking is great , as well as the usb slot, of course, tradition dictates that a cd player is on it too , it is all very flush and buttons are small and neat. It performs so well and the dab radio is a delight if you haven’t tried one yet, it shows the name of the channel like rds but also the presenter and the track and there is so much more info, this little system can do lots and sounds loud and doesn’t go all distorted up loud, panasonic truly knock the spots off rivals every time.

Great sound for this size and price. Pplus the brilliant panasonic build quality. Delivered quickly and securely.

Excellent little stero with good sound.

Bought to replace my old micro hifi system which did not have a usb port. As a music lover with 4 mp3 players and 3 flash drives i was looking for an external sourse to play my music. I am not disappointed, excellent sound quality with absolute no distortion at the highest level. The same goes to playback to cds and format cd-r/rw. In auto tuning to dab stations,do not thumb screw tight the antenna at rear but gently use a wrench to fully tighten in order to receive full auto station scan. Sound to all dab stations i found very good with no interference. Generally i found the instruction manual well presented and good step by step guide. I havent a ipod or iphone so i cant comment to the use of but for those who have it must be a further bonus to them. Highly recommended and excellent value for money.

Good sound and radio reception. With dab and fm radio, a proper tray cd (mp3 compatible) player and the option to plug in a pen drive containing mp3 files this is a great all-rounder. It even has a port on top for those who buy i-toys (but the older connector). The sound output uses pre-defined equaliser settings, it also has a bass boost and wide-angle sound options (a surround sound type effect). The remote control is also very good, both from handling and button/ labelling – something that panasonic do well on all there devices. I had a similar sized sony dab/cd unit with the cd problem that causes the unit to turn off if you closed the cd tray lid but they did not want to know when i reported it. Wish i had known about the sale of goods act back then. The only possible improvements would be i) remove the i-toy feature, and ii) have some sockets on the rear to plug in a tv and/ or record deck. Another good idea that this unit does have is a very low power use in standby (0. 2w) – there is no on/ off switch.

Frustratingly good and bad points. . Setting up is a doddle and took me well under an hour even with the home-made adaption i made for the speaker cables (more of which under the bad points). It’s a pleasant-looking and tidy little device (much tinier than i imagined from the photos) with a great sound, for it’s size and price. This is the first system on which i have tried the ‘surround’ sound and actually found the effect pleasant to listen to music from. For the ‘secondary system’ i was looking for it’s very good. The speaker leads are fixed inside the speakers (cannot swap without taking the speakers apart which will likely damage the chipboard from which the backs are made). The leads are a mere three feet long each; if you’re planning to use this system anywhere other than a bathroom/restroom setting, it may be a problem to fully experience the stereo it’s capable of producing. I was fully aware of this and i have a solution in place which is a hang-over from the system it’s replacing.

Nice little music centre, does what it says on the tin, just got to get a stand for it now.

Nice unit but the sound is not good. This unit is most attractive and is the perfect size for where i needed to put it. I love the fact that i can play music from a usb flash drive. The dab radio does not pick up the station i want but i plan to fiddle a bit more and see if i can get it. At times there is no signal at all. I had tested that a dab radio would work in my flat before i bought this and the portable radio i tried did work without any problems. The previous micro stereo i had before this had a good sound for such a unit despite only being 10 watts rms total. This unit is 40 watts but can’t compare for sound. I find it dull, flat and muddy even after adjusting the bass and treble. The amount you can adjust is minimal.

Looks really smart and the sound it gives out is very good too. A good choice and would recommend it to anyone looking to buy a micro system.

Well i can’t agree with the previous reviewer because we have one and it is wonderful. Great sound, easy to use and picks up all the dab channels that we like plus fm. The cd and ipod and usb facilities all work extremelly well to with great sound. I think the previous reviewer must have been sold a faulty or seconds unit.

This is the second one i bought, to take to india, it is still in the box as i bought this to take to india and keep it there. I have the first already in use for here and i like it.

Good, compact system, but no auxiliary input. I ordered this system for our living room after reading all the reviews. The system is definitely very good. Ipod dock works really well. But i have not been able to get a dab signal, though my other dab radio works fine, just behind the wall. Another thing that really disappointed me was the fact that it does not have an auxiliary input. I should have read the reviews and features better and did some more research. If i had known this before, i wouldn’t have bought it as it now becomes very difficult to connect devices other than ipods, such as android phones. Also the usb only takes mass storage devices.

Small does what it says on the box. Cannot say anymore than that.

Great machine, covers all needs, including ipod, great sound and easy to use.

Great sound system, great sound, nice size, looks great.

Owned the previous model (sa-pm 38db) for over seven years without any problems but the motor has started to complain lately so i decided to get this near identical, more modern replacement. Unit arrived promptly and after making sure the ipod, cd and usb inputs all functioned correctly, i turned my attention to the dab radio, which is where i noticed a slight but all important difference from my last unit. On the back of of the old unit there are three connections, one power cable input, one dab aerial input and one fm aerial input. On the new unit there are only two connections, one for power and one for the dab aerial – no fm aerial socket which means the one socket is being used for both fm and dab signals which in the end turned out to be a thoroughly disappointing discovery. To put it mildly, this new unit has a shocking dab reception – it’s so bad that i cannot get the signal strength indicator to go past the weakest one bar on any station and all stations were sounding bubbly and gurgly. I tried moving the unit and aerial all over the house but still got only one bar. Even tried it outside in the garden and up in the attic but still one bar and still nothing sounded clear. Eventually, i tried a stronger aerial with booster attached and finally got to hear most of the channels but still with only one bar showing which meant that although i could now listen to most channels, i had to be careful not to touch the wires or get too close to the aerial which is basically useless. I am now considering installing an external aerial which should hopefully solve my problem but at around 100 quid for an installation, i’m not rushing into it.

Ok so the radio reception is weak, but a cheap indoor aerial sorted that out, apart from that its fantastic. The ipod dock works well and keeps my phone charged up, its easy to use, and especially like the usb port. Unfortunately when you use this it doesn’t tell you the name of the album, artist etc. But for a tenner i got a 32mb usb drive to put all my music on.

Great sound system, great sound, nice size, looks great.

Excellent little stero with good sound.

A big punch from what looks like a light weight. I was looking for something small that wouldn’t take over the room so my expectations were modest. Did my research and the panasonic fitted the bill so went ahead and got a great deal on amazon. I ordered it on the monday and arrived 20hrs later ‘wow’. I unpacked and set up the system, took less than 5 minutes, screwed in the dab antena, positioned it as instructed and turned the panasonic on. The dab tuned in to all available stations immediately and the visual display on the unit would not only let you know what station you are on but the host and topic. The sound quality is exceptional, crystal clear with plenty of power infact better than the huge system i owned prior to coming to my senses. The cd player as you would expect after me boosting the dab was also impressive, lots of different sound effect options and again the sound power that would put many other similar systems to shame. The ipod docking station is fab, works as it should and charges your phone at the same time. All in all a great system that won’t break the banks.

Panasonic SC-ALL30TEBK 250 W Sound Base Wireless Multi-Room Speaker : technology, compatability and great value

Panasonic technology, compatability and great value. I took some time to choose this sound stage, taking into account dimensions and other reviews (which i must say are few and far between). I nearly bought a canton dm55, but i couldn’t justify the extra £130 and it didn’t have wi-fi features this panasonic does. At just over £180 this unit improved on the sound from my panasonic 4k tv (which wasn’t too bad in the first place) and am able to listen to music on my nas drive (music on my network) and internet radio stations using an android phone app. It has bluetooth connectivity too, so my amazon echo dot plays music to it. The remote control and visual display on the front of the unit (that fades when not being used) makes it easy to set up, change sound source and types, boost the bass, etc. There’s a sound that’ll suit your ears. Speech is clear and the sound is richer. You notice the deeper notes and effects in broadcasts and dvd/blurays. I’ll admit i didn’t buy it through amazon in november, as it was on offer at a local store at a similar price.

This would be brilliant if it had a subwoofer out. This would be brilliant if it had a subwoofer out. The bass is mediocre and it’s now resigned to the bedroom. I wonder if there there would be some kind of way to send the signals wirelessly to to a wireless sub in any way?i really wish i had bought the sc all70 soundbar instead.

Really good product, works well with panasonic tv and you can use the tv control to manage it. Has an aux setting for the hi fi. It will stream from its aux (or other inputs) to other air play speakers, but don’t forget there will be a delay using wi-fi, so you might want to put any other speakers in a room that is sound proofed from the sound base. Almost as good a seperates for general listening, but not so good if you are an audiophile. But it reduces the wire count which keeps mrs happy.

This is a brilliant piece of kit – we have one at home. This is a brilliant piece of kit – we have one at home and one in our static caravan as it vastly improves the sound quality of our television. New tv sets are excellent and give good picture quality but due to their very thin size the sound becomes the weakest feature and can spoil an otherwise good film. Also, many of the new tv series suffer from really bad sound and again this all30 can make the difference between actually hearing what is said and just having to guess. Highly recommended – but pansonic customer service is notoriously bad so the way we see it is that it is good when it is working – but if it should ever fail then we will probably have to replace it with something else.

Great looking unit, good sounds and does what it says on the box. . Using this as a soundbase for a blue ray player connected to an elderly panasonic tv and not as some kind of music centre sending music around the house to other speakers, all physical connections are easy, although only having one hdmi input is limiting as i would have liked to send the sky / you view box through as well. It does have analogue phono connection as an aux input, which is useful as my tv only has an analogue sound output, so i listen to the blue ray via hdmi and all other tv sound via the phono output. The unit has plenty of sound options and also individual adjustment of sub woofer and vocals so plenty of tweeking possibilities to get the right sound. There seams to be little intelligent connection with the television so no shared volume control and auto mute of tv speakers as happened with my previous panasonic theatre system. Works well on bluetooth to my ipad, but appears if you want to connect another bluetooth device you have to disconnect the current one first. Setting up via wifi worked ok but a bit fiddly and not really required unless you want to send music around. Generally a good sounding compact unit, looks great under the tv and a great price from amazon compared to the rrp.

Fantastic bass and an envolving sound. . I was toying with the idea of getting a 5. 1 home cinema system as i wanted a more engaging sound and more bass from my viewing experience. I didn’t like the idea of having speakers sat next to my tv stand on show and speakers attached to the walls to the rear. I have a sony 50′ android tv and i did initially look at the sony equivalent sound base but it was a lot more expensive. The sound base is really well made with a glass top and an all round high quality finish and my tv sits perfectly on top and made me realise that there wouldn’t have been enough space in front of the tv for a sound bar. I purchased a 50cm optical cable and 50cm hdmi cable from amazon which were the perfect length to connect the sound base to the tv and connected the hdmi cable to the socket marked arc. I followed the instructions and connected the sound base to my home wi-fi and adjusted the sound setting to cinema and adjusted the subwoofer to level 3 to watch an episode of ‘mr robot’. I was really impressed with the level of bass and overall sound it was more than i could ask for, you don’t get the rear effect like you would with a 5.

Panasonic Home Cinema Speakers – Great little speaker!

Ok bit expensive like most of panisonic things.

Panasonic home cinema speakers for sc-btx70 and sb-hsx70e-k. This is an great quality product and can’t be faulted in any way. It arrived instantly and was really very well packaged.

Product as predicted – satisfactory transaction.

  • PANASONIC HOME CINEMA SPEAKERS FOR SC-BTX70 AND SB-HSX70E-K

The enhance to my home cinema. The plug-in which i wanted for a group of master audio, the seem has altered considerably. With the subwoofer it sounded very excellent and this couple docked to the wi-fi module there are no cables and seem is equal to the cable, do not get rid of good quality, i am astonished by the seem. In flicks these as avatar bluray is the place it displays the big difference in the sound high-quality of panasonic.

Acquired these products due to the fact they are 1st class performers. one procedure will make hello-fi what it should audio like. I have acquired them related to sony flat screen tv. The improvement in sound high-quality is unbelievable.

For their sizing the copy is initially class, crisp highs, good midrange and restricted bass which of study course is not body shaking but it is remarkable from this kind of a smaller enclosure with a few, sure a few different motorists. I have applied mine in a non-panasonic established-up and they do the job very very well. If you want very good seem but have little area, these will match the bill.

Really extremely excellent minimal speakers entire critique. Very first of all right from the starting i will say this: do not use these as front speakers, thery are not built to be made use of as major entrance speakers, if you use them what they are designed for (rears) they will carry out exceptionally nicely. I have mine fitted at the back again corners of the area on corner cabinets, 4ft 6in previously mentioned ear height when seated. (great site for these sort of rear speakers as they project the sound very well certainly, they have 3 drivers in them all 2. 5′, front two are bamboo and the major one is regular dealt with paper cone with cloth surrounds. Frequency reaction: 80hz-50khzdimensioins: wxhxd 134mm/246mm/114mmimpedance: 6ohmsthey have spring clip terminals that accept medium thickness wire, and if you give the stands a little bit of a twist the speakers experience downwards marginally when on a shelf instantly into the place. They are advertised as 125watts, not a probability for any rear speaker, twelve. 5 watts for each channel is extra reasonable. It’s possible its a misprint in the manual?i indicate who would want 125 watts of ability coming by way of the rear speakers?.I appreciate your stuff panasonic but occur on, be sensible.

Just thought i would share – picked 1 of these up at a clearance keep for equal of 23 kilos – soon after i would bought a new apple ipad pro – from the standpoint that the extensive ‘dock’ slot would healthy.
