Star Wars Darth Vader tooth Speaker : The build quality is excellent. My only downside is linking two together

Before i start this review, i’ll point out i’m a star wars fan, loved the movie when it came out in 1977 and have enjoyed everything that it has offered since. First impressions before opening the box is a quality bit of star wars packing, the box is quality. Unpacking you have a large stormtrooper helmet, also inside the box is a pair of gloves and a dust cover to keep it perfect, these are obviously going to be collectable. You have a mains cable which also acts as a charger, the inbuilt battery lasts for around 2 hours which is good for something this size. Details is very good, nothing has been missed, its amazing (says a star wars fan). The helmet is a speaker, bluetooth so it wirelessly connects to either a smart phone, ipad, tablet, etc, pairing was very straight forward, my ipod found it very quickly. Inside the helmet you have two 3 watt 32mm 4ᘯ speakers, these will produce the high end sound you hear, there is also a 102mm 2. 3ᘯ ported subwoofer producing 15 watts, these will produce the bass you hear. The sound quality surprised me, i didn’t think it was going to be as good, it produces a very solid performance, treble and mid are perfectly mixed, bass is very good, comparing it to my bose, its pretty much as good, a very musical performance as a speaker, that’s coming from a star wars fan who has been dealing in audio for near to 30 years.

Amazed at the size – almost life size. – awesome detail and quality sound.

The detail is amazing, really nice item. However, it was advertised as the lights glowing blue when paired with your bluetooth device, this is not the case, very disappointing with that. Item was also damp inside the box also. Tested the unit for sound quality and it is very good load sound, and the quality is very good. If your a star wars fan like me then this is a lovely item to own. I will be looking in to buying darth vadors head soon, even though i felt slightly mislead my the original eyes lighting up. Hence only 3 star review, sew how vador arrives and hopefully leave 5 stars next time.

Simply a must have for star wars fans. Looks superb and sound pretty good as well. .It’s the simple things that set this a part – the gloves so you don’t get your finger prints on it and the velvet hood to keep it dust free when not in use. Must add penny’s to the manufacturing cost but the feel good feeliig is priceless. The next thing is (and this is sad) on my phone i now have a bluetooth connection to my car, a couple of headphones and cp3o . As a star wars fan it doesn’t get any better than thatas for the speaker – sounds better than i expected – very clear sound and decent – no one is going to buy this for the sound but its very good and the speaker matched easily to my oneplus 3. This has all ready been grabbed by my 14 year old son and the 11 year old has all ready aid he wants one for his birthday.

We seem to be made to play music. This is a near-lifesize replica of c3po’s head. It’s about the same size as a human head, which makes it pretty big and slightly disconcerting sometimes. It’s mounted on a black plastic base which also has touch-sensitive buttons on it so that you can increase the volume or activate the bluetooth connections. It comes with a polishing cloth and small white gloves to handle 3po’s disembodied head because, being golden and shiny, he tracks fingerprints pretty well. Around the back of the base, there’s an ac socket, a usb charger, so that you can charge your phone or other device, and a 3. 5mm jack so that you can connect a regular (non-bluetooth) device to it through the supplied 3. 5mm cable, like an ipod, cassette player or minidisc device.

Star Wars Darth Vader Bluetooth Speaker (Fully Licensed) : This was so cool really big and looks the part. This was so cool really big and looks the part. I did however send this back as the touch buttons on the base didn’t work very well and the sound was awful. Considering the money that you are spending on this i would have thought it would have been better. I was going to keep it as show piece as i didn’t want to send it back but not for the price we paid.

Almost full size, the detail is second to none, the best i have ever seen and sound perfect – they look so cool. I read the review by trusted reviews before buying, they were spot on when they said they are very collectable, i bought both stormtrooper and c-3po and they look fantastic, the detail on each is the best i have seen. I did not know you could pair two speakers to on phone, with these you can and the sound is awesome and it really is stereo. Who ever made these – well done they are perfect. If anyone is after a great sounding speaker and they are a starwars fan, like me, then these are the speakers you are looking for :).

Sound quality compares favourably to other more expensive bluetooth speakers we have. Really easy to set up and use, lots of sound functions. It is large though, i was expecting a mini head as opposed to the full size storm trooper head that arrived. Eyes and mouth light up, a feature the kids love.

‘thank the maker’ a certain droid once said. Prompt delivery, all intact. Decent enough sound quality for what is in essence an ornamental display feature which also doubles as a speaker. The only gripe is the sometimes temperamental bluetooth connection.

Looks awesome and a nice little surprise when you connect with the bluetooth.

Highly recommended purchase. Well, not much you can really say about this other than ‘wow’this thing looks as good as it sounds. It’s heavy and very well made. Even if your not a star wars fan this is a great product and deffinatly becomes a talking point of a room if you would like to see this working?. Watch my review video here: [.

If you’re a star wars fan (or even if you’re not) you’d be hard pressed to deny that this is an imposing speaker – and in a cool way: it’s almost life-size and the detailing is impressive. It’s also a reassuringly weighty thing that would sit impressively on a bookshelf (and – if you really want to splash out – buying another unit to complement this one and sticking these at either end would look pretty awesome – and with the bonus of stereo too). The instruction manual, dust cover, cleaning cloth (and gloves?) supplied cabling (but no usb) all add up to a quality package. Bluetooth pairing was hitch-free and it was good to go pretty much straight out of the box. All the functions worked as expected (although i found in bluetooth mode volume adjustment is via your source device rather than the speaker’s own). A pleasing feature was the unexpected sound of the dark lord’s asthmatic breathing to signal that i had successfully paired my device. Sound/audio-wise i found it disappointing. While it is certainly loud enough to fill a room easily, pop and rock sound rather muddy, compressed and indistinct (to my ears at any rate: other reviewers seem to disagree). I am no audiophile but have owned/reviewed enough speakers to know what kind of sound reproduction you should expect at a certain pricepoint and feel this speaker falls short in this respect (though to be fair it handles acoustic and jazz far better – producing a reasonably natural, fuller sound).

Three letters describe this wow – very well made, very easy to use, has a built in rechargeable battery so you can move it arrowed the house or use in the garden. The sound from it is fantastic, very clear and easily fills the room. You can either control it from your phone/ipad/bluetooth device or from the buttons on the base. It also comes with a velvet hood so when not in use and be easily covered so as not to damage it or let it get dusty. Its worth every penny, if you are a star wars fan you need this. It looks fantastic and it sounds fantastic.

This looks fantastic, and offers great audio. It looks fantastic, and it functions as a high-quality speaker system. It’s certainly well made, with good production values. And it comes nicely packaged. If you’re a star wars fan, and you fancy a great looking darth vader piece to display – which works as a bluetooth wireless audio system – then i highly recommend this product. It has a deluxe feel to it, and will likely be difficult to purchase in the not too distant future. While i am pleased with this item, i am nonetheless somewhat disappointed by its size.

What a fantastic and cool idea this is. I love iti was slightly apprehensive that this bluetooth speaker would be all style and no substance, but that is definitely not the case. It looks really good, is just the right size, and actually sounds very good too. I am usually quite picky when it comes to how my music sounds but this didn’t disappoint, thankfully. I do think the price is a quite high compared to other comparably sized output speakers but then this isn’t your ordinary, everyday speaker is it. What’s not to love about it.

The build quality is excellent. My only downside is linking two together. I’ve had this now for 2 weeks. The build quality is excellent. My only downside is linking two together. I had a stormtrooper that worked for a week then failed. Amazon replacement was fantastic. However the problem is now with sound sync with speakers. They regularly miss sound together.

I like it very much, though found controls a little baffling. . Yes, you cannot help but love it. It paired effortlessly to my pc putting power on will cause the speaker to give a soft bleep. On pairing he eyes light up red and stay on and go out after about a minute and you get the laser sound effect -great fun. Power is supplied via an internal rechargeable battery (usb. To charge, though no cable, but i expect we all have one of these. ) but also for mains power, there is an array of clip on plugs to suit most places in the world i should think. Having got it to work just fine, i had a little difficulty with the controls. I could only alter volume up and down by tapping on the two controls at the front. Rather than pressing and holding them as the instruction say.

‘this is the device you are looking for’. This speaker is an incredibly well made novelty item, full size and weighty. It comes complete with a power supply, jack to jack input cable so you can hardwire your source via its headphone socket, a nice protective star wars branded bag, cleaning cloth and gloves. It is very loud and although it has adjustable bass it still has the usual slightly tinny quality that you get from bluetooth speakers. It tends to give better sound if placed on a cupboard or something hollow. Very quick to pair with my device although i did find en error in the handbook; some of the many control buttons have dual funtion, the volume controls double as track skip, the handbook says tap to skip and hold for volume but in fact it is the other way round. It’s ideal for a young teenaged star wars fan who wants to play music from their phone when you don’t want their bass thumping through the walls and it’s fun with it’s flashing lights and also has star wars sound effects when changing some settings. Really you are paying for the brand and since you can get an entry level hifi amplifier at a simliar price i’m knocking a star off for sound quality vs price.
