Samsung HW-H355 2 : Very good value but you have to work on the e/q

He appears very happy so far. Bought this as a present for my husband as he loves crystal clear sound. He appears very happy so far.

Not enough tone adjustment. . I’ve had this product for a few months now. There’s very little adjustment on the tone settings. I seem to get a better stereo separation on the built in tv speakers. The sound quality seems a little muffled on general tv viewing but quite good when watching films, dvd’s or blue ray. I think i would prefer proper surround sound but this isn’t a bad product.

Excellent sound quality, bluetooth option works great and the various modes and sound presets offer variety depending on the setting. While not true surround sound, the 3d sound plus function works a charm. Bass is punchy and is adjustable. Great little device for the price. Here are the specifications for the Samsung HW-H355 2:

  • The wireless way to upgrade your TV sound- Get the freedom to connect your Soundbar to your Samsung TV automatically without wires
  • Experience 3D in sound as well as vision.
  • Your mobile music ready to play when you are – Use your mobile device to turn on your Soundbar and stream your music.

Very good value for money if you cannot afford a full 5. 1 system and do not want to deal with dozens of wires. . Bought this a few days ago and it was delivered within 24 hours (did not pay for special delivery). The set up was really easy and my tv recognised the soundbar almost immediately when i put it on the bluetooth setting. It is really easy to switch between devices. The subwoofer really adds some excellent bass to the tv however i would say that on some occasions voices in tv shows can be quite hard to hear as the music of background noise in the show seems to be given priority over actors voices. This was an issue when going through all of the pre-set choices (standard, music, sports, cinema, voice). The issue may be solved by using an optical cable instead of the wireless function but i am yet to try that out. I will say however that the pre-set choices, in particular sports and music, were excellent. Really looking forward to sitting down to watch some movies with the added depth of sound.

Good soundbar for price paid there’s a lot more expensive. Good soundbar for price paid there’s a lot more expensive ones but this does the job in my lounge.

Small bass box but what an output. Such an awesome sound, movies have never been better.
      • Good sound over wireless connection. The low in sub woofer wattage is disappointing, especially when played through the tv. The 120 w is total across the sound bar and woofer. Although slightly wider than the 48″ tv, it blends in well. Blue tooth feature is useful when using smart phones or laptop as the music source, which allows for more volume. The sound bar is a useful entertainment unit without all the mess from the wires.
  2. Good quality, love it for sports programmes, but it has a delay with the speech, which annoys me. I have tried to set it up better but can’t seem to so it, it could be my technology skills, or it’s not capable of being changed.

So i just bought a new samsung smart tv (samsung ju6800 which i highly recommend also) and wanted a sound bar to go with it. Most were in the £300-600 price range. After spending 1300 on the tv itself i did not want to overspend on extras. I picked this item up for £98 and expected a minor improvement. If this is the £100 sound bar id love to hear what one of the expensive ones is cappible of. For films gives a truely cinematic sound, for music amazing and the subwoofer is very powerful. Also i have this set up wirelessly which is good.
