Logitech P710e Mobile Speaker : Smartphones nowadays are certainly smart, but the latter part of the neologism has

Really handy for those working from home situations when you have to dial into calls using your mobile. Easy to use and the sound quality is very good indeed. I would recommend this product.

We’ve been using this speaker in our meeting room at work for a couple of months now and i’m very pleased with the purchase, here’s why:- design: sturdy, excellent materials quality. Slides open to insert an mobile phone which is handy when using skype or google hangout. – connectivity: connects to my phone as soon as i get into the room, no need to go to settings and connect manually each time. – battery life: i charged it when i purchased it and it still running on the same charge, so i’m very pleasantly surprised. – audio quality: probably the biggest winner, the audio quality is fantastic, and orders of magnitudes better than using the phone’s internal speakers.

Super product – as good as any far more expensive conference speaker/microphone products i have used. Of course not able to do a long table with a great many participants, but for your 4 -6 in the room around a round table, works a treat.

Have tried several of such devices to make calls. I used plantronics but returned the one as it was poor in sound quality. Have 2 of them and works like charm.

  • Very good home office addition
  • Perfect meeting room speaker.
  • Works without any effort with laptop and great sound quality

  • Make sure this fits
    by entering your model number.
  • Digital Signal Processing (DSP) for enterprise-quality audio
  • Acoustic echo cancelation and noise-cancelling microphone
  • USB cable management – Dynamic equalizer for voice or music
  • Visual incoming call indicator

Excellent product, does exactly as it says on the tin.

Works great in our board room, very clear audio.

Connects to your iphone first time every time via the bluetooth. Voice quality is crystal clear and you can be comfortably seated away from it and it will still pick up your voice.

Generally ok but getting some feedback from clients on poor transmission sound quality.

This is a good sturdy mobile speaker which also acts as a mobile stand, either to allow you to use video calling/skype, or just to keep it propped up whilst you use it either for a phone call or for music/video etc. Having first charged the speaker (i charged via the usb port on my pc), with the nfc on my sony xperia l switch on, i just brought the two together and agreed to the message asking if i wanted to link on my mobile. This is the first time i have used the nfc function and it is so easy – no messing around with fiddly settings – just bring them close to one another and job donethe sound is excellent and for my work it is great to be able to take a call and type, without either pinning my mobile to my ear or suffering with the echoing sound quality familiar with speakerphone. This is a very different sound quality – crisp and clear. The touch sensitive buttons on the front are easy to use and are good for adjusting the volume and answering/ending a call. I wish the volume would go slightly higher, but perhaps this has been limited to prevent any distortion. The volume is perfectly adequate for phone calls, but i when listening to music, it would be nice to turn it up a bit louder. The look and feel of the speaker is solid and attractive – it is smooth the touch and the top half, shown at the top of the picture is the part that slides backwards to allow you to insert your mobile and prop it up. My mobile (and i would assume most other smartphones) will stand vertically or horizontally (portrait or landscape) to suit your purposes. This is most useful for work for me, but it is quickly finding lots of uses in our household – including my children watching videos on it.

Sound very clear and so far no complaints from our counterparts that they can’t hear us.

I use it in my office at home.

This mobile speaker from logitech provides a remote microphone that can be paired with a pc, tablet or smartphone to allow you to use voice apps like skype without needing any mic connected and without having to be too close. It’s very easy to set this up as the input and outputs from apps like skype (it automatically found it and offered to use it) and it works really well if you want people in the room to be able to hear , share and contribute to conversation. For me this will also be very handy for gaming when i skype chat to my friends as we play. Rather than needing a headset i can output game sound to my surround sound set-up and the voice output to this and it works brilliantly. The sound quality is crystal clear at both ends (with a decent internet connection of course). The controls are very simple, with volume, answer and disconnect, mute, power and a bluetooth pairing button. There is also an earphone socket should you wish to plug some in (though i can’t see why i’d do that as i would just be using my headset in that case). Overall an impressive device and more useful than i had expected.

The other caller has said that they can’t hear any difference from their end, and when in use several people can join in the call without loss of quality. Nice design features and user controls. The only downside is my iphone 6 plus doesn’t fit in the holder. However i rarely have video calls so this is not that important for me.

Good for those spontaneous conference calls when you’re on the move.

Good quality speakerphone with one star taken off as it can sometimes be a bit funny with the bluetooth connection. For example it doesn’t seem to always automatically connect if i move out of range and come back in but no major hassle. Nice quality with great features like usb charging being handy if you work remotely and has great sound which makes working from home seem more like being in the office. Not the cheapest but a huge improvement versus putting phone on loudspeaker.

Fantastic for my home office, good quality sound perfect. Use this a lot as a project manager, hands free for taking notes on calls.

Great solid built, brilliant battery life, no problems on either end of the telephone line. Worked well with the iphone & gigaset home cordless phone.

Smartphones nowadays are certainly smart, but the latter part of the neologism has been neglected. Almost every smartphone i’ve used has a suboptimal speaker/mic, especially for when i want to talk to someone without holding a hot phone to my ear. The p710e goes a long way to solving some of the problems i have with call quality on my phone, and it’s also useful for skype. Pairing it was easy with my n4 and the clarity of its speaker vastly exceeded that of the phone. Apparently my voice came through clearer than with the regular mic, too, even though i was quite a bit further away from the device. The speaker also worked without hassle with skype on my pc and it was nice not to have to wear a headset while talking. Speech comes through clearly and the controls on the front are easy to use. The speaker itself is typical modern logitech – decent quality black plastic in an understated design. It won’t blow you away but it looks businesslike and should fit perfectly in most offices. The speaker includes a slot so you can set your phone in the centre for handsfree talking/video calls.

This is an awesome plug and play device for personal use or for small group. Works perfectly with smartphone via bluetooth as well. Nfc pairing is very helpful. Don’t forget to install skype plugin from logitech to be able to use speaker’s call buttons. This is exactly what i was looking for.

This gadget is great for working from home which i do once a week. Very easy to pair with bluetooth on my work mobile (nokia lumia) and my personal mob when i need to use that (samsung s3). Also connects no problem by usb to my laptop and desktop. Today i worked from home and had 4-5 calls totalling about 3 hrs. Was great being able to do all of them using this mobile speaker, rather than holding a mobile for all that time and/or having to use a headset which is a faff. Pretty much on a par with ‘star phones’ to those familiar with those in an office environment. Volume doesn’t go as loud as those but it goes loud enough and i’m pleased with the audio quality. The other bonus (when pairing with a mobile) is that if your mobile has an iffy signal like my work one does – i can leave the mob by the window and answer calls at my desk with this mobile speaker. I’m also no longer accidentally cutting off calls which on my work mob i have a habit of doing – so it’s very useful in that regard.

This makes group meetings via skype so much easier. Works without any effort with laptop and great sound quality. Sound is interrupted by other apps so i need to ensure outlook and chrome are closed, however i can probably sort that if i looked into my settings.

  1. Normally love logitech products, but this one has let me down. It’s easy to use, the speaker works well, the problem arises when i start to talk, no i’m not a quiet spoken one, quite the opposite. The microphone does not work at all well, people on the other end struggle to hear. In the end i have to revert back to headset and that works fine. Nice piece of kit let down by poor microphone quality.

I have no idea how anyone rates this as less than 4 stars. It does exactly what it is supposed to with every phone i have paired to it. The connection and speaker quality is excellent and the microphone picks up voice from a distance with ease. There is no line noise or other interference and it looks great. The buttons are a little finicky at first but given you do not really need to use them this is a small 1/2 star gripe at best. Otherwise nothing but praise for a product that makes working from home more straightforward and allows me to operate as effectively as i do with all the features and functionality i enjoy in the office.

    • Doesn’t compare to the¬†konftel ego portable conference speakerphone (usb/bluetooth) skype for business/mobile music speaker.
