LG Electronics LG PH1 Bluetooth Speaker – Easy to pair and control

Looks nice, volume poor just glad it was discounted and would have been very dissappointed.

Excellent compact device, very good sound with novel lighting effect🙂👍.

I wanted to buy a cheap loudspeaker after my bunny chewed the cords/cables of my old loudspeaker. Decided to get a bluetooth one as it doesn’t have cords. It works perfectly on my desktop computer, the sound is good, not perfect but it’s good sound. £12 is a cheap price and i like how it lights up and changes colors. Looking at it, it doesn’t look like it will last long. It looks kinda cheap looking. I have audiance a2 over ear headphones that are just as cheap. But imo it has better sound than this bluetooth lg speaker. Here are the specifications for the LG Electronics LG PH1 Bluetooth Speaker:

My wife found this really useful for her office desk , lovely sound and easily controlled & not intrusive in size.

Better sound quality than expected.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • Great little Bluetooth speaker
  • Cute and sounds decent
  • Average sound quality but very good battery life

Great sound quality for such a small speaker.

Amazing sound for price superb.

For its size this speaker produces brilliantly loud and clear sound when linked to my iphone.

Excellent clarity from this unit, perfect for background sounds by your bedside, or eg on your desk at home. Not the loudest around at 2. 5w, but provides comfortable ‘easy-listening’ levels when in proximity or for a small room. The leds are cute, kinda emphasizes to me this is more ‘lifestyle’ than ‘device’. In this price bracket i’d say buy this as a bedside table/desk accessory that spits out good sound. If you’re just looking for a little mono-speaker, there’s a brand that rhymes with sanka that has a well-reviewed model that’s around 50p different.

I have used this product to listen to music in my garden. It’s brilliant as there is no need for leads and as it becomes dark there is an inbuilt light.

Great little bluetooth speaker for the price and also acts as a handsfree speakerphone. Well worth the price when ordered in sale.

I love everything about this speaker. Not as loud as an echo but more than enough without annoying othersfunky lights are a lovely addition too. The charge lasts hours n hours too.

Not very loud or lots of base.

Excellent for a little device. Simple bluetooth connection. Disconnect current device to lair with another. Sound quality is good too, if you’re expecting a 100% pure sound this is great value for money but obviously not bose or another well known brand.

Managed to pick this up very cheap on a deal so that’s influenced my review because it fills a small niche i had for a small unobtrusive speaker that can sit in the kitchen or bathroom and fill the room with noise. Nice led light function too just to add a bit of j’nais se qua to the product.

This is a seriously good little speaker for the money. The volume is perfectly adequate for medium sized rooms and it has a good bassy tone. I really can’t see the point of the varying coloured lights, but you have the option to use them or not. The 12 hours playing time seems to be fairly accurate and you get a chime when it needs to be recharged. I just let it run down once to check but i normally just put it on charge overnight. I use it, at the moment, in conjunction with my ipad air to listen to audio books. The bluetooth was recognised right away and it now connects seamlessly, giving a chime as it does so. I have a samsung mp4 player and this connects via a mini plug. The music and the radio both sound good through this unit. It is intended for use in our caravan and this small speaker will be ideal in that application.

Very impressed with the sound and look of this speaker.

Honestly speaking i did not check the dimensions before placing order and i was expecting something bigger than what it it. So i was bit disappointed when i opened the box and saw this tiny and lightweight speaker. Sound quality is average and i rarely use lights as they they are not in sync with music but they are just a regular colour changing led bulbs. But biggest plus is it’s battery life, it lasts for few days and due to it’s size i can easily carry it anywhere i like.

Worked straight from the box and looks great when playing music.

Very good quality, battery life is amazing highly recommend.

Smart gadget, sounds good for what you pay.

I’ve had numerous bluetooth speakers in the past, from big ones to tiny little ones the size of oreos. They’ve all ended up breaking somehow, whether it’s been the charger port dropping inside the speaker, a waterproof one that gave up the ghost after a quick shower, to two just stopping working unless i gave them a sharp tap, and one even needed to be upside down for it to work. I decided to give this one a go, with it being lg i hoped it would be a better quality than the rest and last at least a year (none of the others did)first impressions, it looks nice, but is very light – not a good sign for a speaker, light usually indicates rubbish, in the hand it feels like a cheap chinese toy you’ll find in any pound shop. Took a while to suss the light out on it, i expected a few more settings judging by the pics, but there’s only a couple and they’re all a bit naff to be quite honest, more of a gimmick and i imagine most people will keep it turned off to save the battery life, i definitely would. The most important part, the speaker. It’s clear, and the 360 listening part works fairly well. Unfortunately it’s very weak, at full volume it’s not even half as loud as the other speakers i’ve had in the past, and two of those were half the price of this. It sounds really feeble, even when i’m in the bath and not much volume is needed i keep going to turn it up, and realise it’s at full settings. I can talk and be heard without having to raise my voice at all, it’s really that puny. I used it with a paid android music app that has numerous equaliser options on it, and an amp function to raise volume and despite clicking and fiddling with dozens of presets i couldn’t get it to sound bassy at all, it genuinely reminded me of an old nokia phone i had about ten years ago, it’s about the same level of volume and missing the bass undertone that’s so essential with a lot of music.

Ok, the picture’s published make this thing look a good 12″ tall, so when a parcel arrived (on time) i really had no idea what was inside, bit of a let down to see it was no more than 3″ tall and around 2″ wide. The sound is no more than i’d expect from something this size, but the lights are a nice feature and at £13 on a deal of day worth keeping for a stocking filler …. Would i have paid £39 – no way.

    • I needed a little speaker that i would not care about and saw that this one was a great price. I was expecting some shoddy rubbish but i thought it would be ok as i wanted a speaker i could throw in my bag anf not worry about- i was wrong. This is well made the sound distribution works surprisingly well and it lights up. What more do you want for this price range.
