KitSound Stadium 120 Soundbar and Subwoofer Home Cinema Stereo System : KitSound Ovation \o/

Great bass for a slimline soundbar. . I wanted a soundbar to enhance my samsung smart tv speakers and declutter the room from the 5 speakers of the home cinema. It recognised straight away the tv and dvd player and i could connect easy my asus nexus 7 tablet via bluetooth. Great bass and treble adjustment and to be fair even its 60w power can fill the room nicely especially when listening to kerrang or spotify at high volume. Hdmi, aux, bluethooth and optical – perfect combination. Very pleased with it and it worth the money.

Bluetooth connection lets it down. . Excellent soundbar for the price. Very nice sound especially with music from my phone when connected via bluetooth. The only issue is, and the reason i gave it four stars instead of five is that once you turn the bluetooth off, when you want to connect again via bluetooth you have to go through the whole process of re-pairing your device to the soundbar which in my case means deleting the already paired chorus soundbar from the phone and letting the phone rediscover the soundbar, and pairing it again, which is a real drag.

For the price a cracking bit of kit very easy to set up and gives a great sound. A couple of little gripes, i used the wall bracket and the fixing screws would not tighten fully without using a washer as the metal was to thin, and i had trouble with the optical lead which was pushed out of line by the wall bracket causing a connection problem. But apart from that very pleased with it.

This soundbar was bought for me as a gift from a friend who knew i was unhappy with the sound from my panasonic viera tv. I have to say this soundbar has made a huge difference and i can’t praise it highly enough. It connected with just a mains lead and an optical digital cable. (although i did have a problem. Inasmuch as i never realised there were plastic protectors over the optical cable pins)once this issue was resolved. 🙂 it also comes with lots of different cables for different options to connect including hdmi etc. The bass and depth of sound is amazing compared to the flat tinny tv speakers.

This is far better sound than my expensive curved screen tv. I set mine up using the bluetooth setting on the tv. Select bluetooth on the remote and it connected within 10 sec. Has all the connections you require, optical, hdmi and aux. The remote covers all these and has treble, base additional settings. Plus music, movie and night setting, which takes out the base out. The soundbar is suitable a small to large sized room. Excellent price, very pleased. I have had to re rate this soundbar from 5* to 3* . Due to it breaking within 3 weeks but customer service we quick to offer replacement or my money back. I have gone for the replacement as it is very good, when working. Only on the condition that i can return it if it happens again. Will give a further review in the future.

KitSound Stadium 120 Soundbar and Subwoofer Home Cinema Stereo System with Bluetooth for All TV’s (Samsung/Panasonic/LG/Sony/Phillips) – Black : One of my best purchases of the year. I bought the unity tv soundbase to go in our lounge after being recommended it by a friend. When the soundbase arrived i was excited as the packaging looked classy so i couldn’t wait to see what the soundbase looked like. It was well packaged and came with a remote control, 3. 5mm to rca aux-in cable, optical cable, ac power cord and user manual. It’s a nice size (76mm x 346mm x 730mm) and it looks great with a glass top and touchscreen buttons. I found i could connect it both wired and wirelessly, what i also found was great is that i could connect my phone to it and play music via bluetooth. The soundbase sounds absolutely brilliant, it has 100 watts of sound and a built in subwoofer, it makes watching the tv so much better as the sound quality is so rich. I had bought my partners dad a soundbar in the past which was more expensive than the unity soundbase, but the sound quality is no comparison, the soundbase wins hands downoverall i would say that this has been one of my best purchases of the year, it sounds great, looks great and makes the tv sounds so much better, 5 stars from me.

This was even better than expected. This was even better than expected. Really easy to set up using hd cables and its a fantastic sound. Great bass which can be adjusted as can all the settings on the great soundbar. This is one of the few soundbars available which has 3 differnt types to link to your other equipment, im an oap and had no problems setting up and using. We love it and are happy to depense with our bulky home cinema.

This is a very good, very real sound soundbar. I was debating whether to upgrade our soundbar for months before finally purchasing this one. It was in my saved for later for ages. But kitsound kept coming up with great reviews and we desperately wanted a soundbar that didn’t keep turning itself off every time we paused live tv or our planner so that you had to wait a good five seconds before the sound would come back on, on re-starting the programme. That gets very old, very quickly. It’s always ready to perform as soon as you re-start a programme and the sound is so real. It does take a little getting used to as you start to hear lots of aspects you didn’t before. The open golf was on recently and we could hear the applause so crystal clearly and from other rooms, it was like being on the fairway. Also with action scenes, bullets and explosions are quite impressive and all this at relatively low volume, you won’t need to use full volume, ever.

I got the stadium 120 sound bar just in time for euros as missed out on tickets and wanted to treat myself to cheer me up. I can’t sum up how brilliant it is. The sound is just incredible. We’ve put the subwoofer behind the sofa so have audio coming from all around us and it’s fab, really brings an atmosphere to the lounge. Can’t wait for the euros to start. All my friends have said we have the designated tv now to watch it on nowit was really easy to set up (comes with a user manual just in case but i don’t think we even had to refer to it) but it’s worth mentioning that it didn’t come with a hdmi cable so will need to get one beforehand. They’re really cheap though so not a big deal. The packaging is really smart and professional and makes me realise why i shop with kitsound so regularly – high quality but at reasonable prices, can’t go wrong. The sound bar and subwoofer are both wireless which is great as it means there’s not wires trawling around the room making it unsightly.

I received this bluetooth speaker quickly and well packaged, as well as the speaker itself there are instructions, a remote control, coaxial cable and brackets to fix the speaker to the wall. The build quality and finish of the speaker is pretty good, this is definitely not a cheap looking speaker despite the modest price of £50, i especially like the finishing touch of the sliver strip across the top. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality as i wasn’t expecting it to look as good as it does, i have a roth bluetooth speaker as well (which cost over £150) but i prefer the look of the kit sound. I also prefer the remote control for the kit sound as it’s more user friendly and includes a battery. The setup process for the kit sound is simple, i paired it with my phone in less than 5 minutes and then it auto-connects every time you switch the speaker on after that. I have used the coaxial to connect to the tv but you could also use the optical. Additionally there is a usb port for charging other devices. The soundbar certainly impresses when put to the sound test. The speaker gives a well-rounded, balanced and immersive sound which can be changed to suit your taste by the three pre-set options (music, movie or night).

A very simple solution for improved tv sound quality. At this price point the kitsound provides excellent value for money. Shorter that most sound bars which means its very easy to pickup and move about. All connections are covered so that means two 3. 5mm jacks, optical, coaxial and 2 hdmi pass throughs which makes life so much easier. The sound is a nice pleasant level. Its not very wide in surround sound mode and the bass isnt massively deep. This isnt for someone looking for an amazing immersive movie experience. This is for someone looking for an easy to use but big upgrade on the average tv speakers.

Some problems – but a great piece of kit. Some problems – but a great piece of kit. I got my kitsound ovation yesterday. It comes in a lovely box that straight away makes you think ‘oooh, i’ve bought something really nice’. The unit itself has a nice shiny black finish and looks good. I got it connected to my panasonic viera tv with the optical cable (provided) with no real problems. I did struggle for a bit before finding out that the platic bits on the end of the optical cable are protective caps. I have a ps3 and a blu-ray player connected to my tv via hdmi — the sound is correctly output to the sound bar with no trouble. The sound is much better than the built in tv speakers.

What an improvement to the tv sound. Plus being able to bluetooth from my phone or computer. I have to fiddle to get it going on a morning as it not always responds to the remote. The batteries are new once going though then no probs. Looks neat in from of the tv, so much so visitors do not even notice it except for the sound it gives.

Kitsound – a very sound piece of kit. Enhances the sound to the nth degree on modern thin tv’s, in my case a 42 inch smart 3d model. At long last clear dialogue not overpowered by the music or sound effects, both on movies and modern tv drama offerings. Plug and play, use the optical cable from the box and simply a 5 minute job but hdmi and other connections are provided. Only slight moan is that there is a delay on the remote instructions taking effect, but hey ho, so what, for the enhanced viewing experience experienced, i’d put up with more than that.

Kitsound chorus great value for money. Great soundbar for the money you cant go wrong this is my second one as the first arrived with some lovely modern art dents in it but amazon eventually replaced fair play but the second one arrived with no remote. Amazon where rather evasive and asked me to contact the manufacturer which i did and they sent out a replacement remote next day top class performance from the manufacturer and the sound bar is classy and stylish great performer go get one now.

Ks make some fantabulous gear. Had the hive for a few years, it has traveled the world with me, and rocked some great bbq nights, so thought the ks sound bar offering would be a good option for my news tv; new tvs are so thin, there is no space for good quality speakers and they just sound flat and dull. So, the ks unit arrived really quickly, so easy to setup, looks cool, and small footprint for a neat fit under the tv. It comes with a multitude of fitting and wiring bits, which saves some dosh. Wide, dynamic and rich sound, the usual audiophile quality you get from ks. Bargain price for a really punchy soundbar. It may be just 60w rms when compared to some others, but it is very powerful, plenty to fill the room with immense sound. Grab a bargain, forget the others, this is the one you need, glad i went for it.

I never knew the sound on my tv was so bad, massive improvement. Great look compared to others and a great range of connectivity options too. Simple to set up and use with the remote, however that too is the only means of operating the device, so don’t lose it.

I agree with all of the glowing comments by the other reviewers. I am very impressed, especially with the virtual surround sound which brings movies on the tv to life. It comes with all the leads you will need (even a continental mains lead) but no batteries (2 x aaa) for the remote control. I wrote this a few months ago. Since then the ac/dc adaptor was destroyed in a flood. I contacted kit sound to explain and they sent me a replacement free of charge. Not only is the ovation a 5-star sound bar, but i had 5-star support as well.

Easy to use, high quality sound and looks cool.  it seems to be the in-thing at the moment to have a sound-bar and a massive 4k tv. Not wanting to spend the earth on a new tv just yet, i thought i’d delve into the world of soundbars to see what all the fuss was about. I found this cool looking speaker while browsing through amazon, and looking at brands i’ve bought products from before. This one stuck out to me immediately, because i have been thinking about upgrading to a curved tv in the near future, so wanted to make sure i didn’t have to switch sound bar so soon after the first purchase. In addition, it is considerably more affordable than the other alternatives, that all seem to be in excess of £200. When it arrived, it was packaged professionally (as i’ve found with all products i’ve bought before from kitsound) and practically, with the sub-woofer in a separate box and therefore avoiding a massive combined piece of packaging that would’ve been a nightmare to dispose of. As soon as i got the soundbar out of the box, i positioned it in front of my tv and it instantly looked at home. As i said, i don’t currently have a curved tv, but it looks great anyway. It’s a sleek black colour scheme with the classy silver ends capping off the design.
