Creative T15W Wireless : Five Stars

I was expecting a better quality sound from these speakers but overall i’m happy with the purchase. I’ve been looking for a speaker that i can hook up to my tv but also allows me to connect my phone wirelessly to listen to music. These ones are the only ones that come close to meeting my expectations. Pros:- connecting my phone to the bluetooth speakers was simple. – the sound quality is ok, nothing spectacular but the sound quality is good. – they have a tone dial for bass and treble control. – they go to sleep automatically and turn on automatically when you want to use them. – there is no need to press a button when switching from bluetooth to the line-in input. Basically it will play from both simultaneously if you want to. This is what i have been looking for – i.

I have these speakers in my photography studio and they can fill the space no problem. Great connection options with bluetooth, nfc and 35. I can play either my own or a clients music during shoots.

Excellent sound quality for the price and easy to connect to bluetooth. The only niggle is the constantly flashing blue led in the bluetooth button.

  • Good Value Sound That Doesn’t Cost An Earth To Buy!
  • Good speakers.
  • Work well with a PC or laptop

Creative T15W Wireless (2.0) Bluetooth Speakers with BasXPort Technology and Aux-in – Black

    by entering your model number.
  • Tweeters deliver high frequency performance
  • Dedicated drivers for distinctive midrange audio
  • Creative BasXPort technology – large port tube that delivers high output bass
  • Streams music wirelessly from stereo Bluetooth devices
  • Tone control that encompasses treble and bass that tailors to your music playback

Bought these off amazon to replace a set of ageing advent satellite speakers (2. 1) for use as a casual set of speakers. I didn’t expect the bass to be great but everything turned out fine although not as great as the speakers they were replacing, fine for the space saving that they provide along with the more balanced tones. Not much to say about the speakers other than that, a few of my thoughts about the pros and cons of the speakers are:pros:- space saving whilst providing ample bass. – bluetooth range is fine past 1 concrete wall dividing a room. – both the aux in and bluetooth inputs can be used simultaneously. – easy bluetooth connectivity, whilst does not automatically search for the last device; it can be connected to via the device or pressing the bluetooth button once on the main speaker unit. Cons:- led flashing whilst connected via bluetooth can be distracting. (is constantly on whilst connected using the aux in. )- bluetooth delays due to codec support (only minor when at close ranges, not really noticeable when watching videos either).

Very good sound quality over bluetooth without being too big.

Bought as a gift, she is very pleased.

The speakers are great when playing devices are connected directly by cable to aux-in socket. I must be unlucky because i found when the bluetooth connection was live it resulted in loud, scratchy interference. Turned off the wi-fi, router and other devices but it made no difference whichever room i set them up in. I cannot categorically blame the product, there may be something in my house, or even my neighbour’s house that is interfering with the bluetooth frequency. My review just points out that there is a risk that that the bluetooth technology may not be effective, so why pay more. T10 would have done the same job.

I bought these for my laptop as i was getting fed up of all the messy, untidy cables draping about the place and its an excellent alternative. You can even connect your phone or any other bluetooth audio device to them making it excellent at parties.

I have these attached to my win 10 pc. The bluetooth connection worked straight away and setting up is very straightforward. They look good and the sound is very adequate for a small room or office. I wouldn’t recommend these as tv speakers and i don’t think that is what they are intended for, but the dynamic range isn’t bad if you turn the treble right up. They lack a bit of bass, but for the size and price i think they are pretty adequate.

Decent speakers but be warned they do not come with a standard audio cable that is required to connect them up if you do not intend to use the bluetooth.

When i opend box thought there a bit small but wow thay are brill set in 2 mins. The onley thing i do not like is the flashing blue light dose not stop flashing. I put them in a nother room about 25 feet and that still worked lovley away from laptop. I have syced with a samsung laptop with win 10 and a samsung s4, and a asus tablet. I think ill buy another pair. This is a ps3+4 proble not the speakers.

Good speakers, work well and have great range.

Good for what i need them to do cud be usb but still good for the money.

Looks great and sounds good. Would have given it 5 stars but because creative didn’t add a 70p jack to jack cable i’l just give 4. 70p to make it a complete package???.

So sobluetooth connection doesn’t work very good, there is a delay quite often, than i have to restart the speakers. 3 stars instead of 2 because the output is great.

Impressed & happy with these speakers. Sending sound wirelessly via bluetooth from a laptop or iphone has been easy for non-technical users.

Excellent speakers lovely tone would have given it 5 stars but for the power supply lead having a continental 2 pin connector (very small pins) had to go an buy a power supply for it not an ideal situation selling this type of power supply in the uk. This should have been pointed out by the supplier before you ordered.

These sound great for their size. My main annoyance is that when using them in bluetooth mode you have to press the ‘connect’ button every time you turn them on. I think that there should be an option to automatically connect, which would be particularly useful if, like me, you are not using the analogue audio input at all.

Powerful, punchy bass (i was specifically looking for some speakers that packed a punch), great clarity, sounds amazing, looks amazing. One downside is that there’s interference when using bluetooth – pretty often. But i’m willing to put up with that because it’s very quiet and hardly noticeable, and these speakers sound so damn good.

I’ve had the earlier model of these speakers connected directly to the tv for ps4 gameplay for ages, they always performed brilliantly. And only replaced due to flooding. Am glad to say this model sounds even better than the last. The extra bass upgrade means that even with the treble quite high you still get a nice balance of sound. They look smart and give out more than enough sound to fill a room.

What can i say about these other than they are an absolute steal for the price. I only got them today and can already tell i will have nothing but joy using them. They are very good for casual gamer and people who like to play music when working on something or when you want to lie down and just listen to something on shuffle. Honestly i would buy two sets of these just because the bass is so good for what you pay. Haven’t tried the bluetooth yet but i’m sure im going to have a blast with it when i have friends round. Note: bear in mind that i do have a sound card built into my pc so sound should be better anyway for me.

They do the job , the quality of the sound is acceptable, clear sound on pop , jazz music or watching movies from my computer, on hard rock music with distorted guitars the sound is a bit flat and confused. If you need something medium quality it’s a good item. Not power enough for parties. I had some creative many years ago with subwoofer and the bass and volume was much louder. A good item as computer desk speakers.

I have a pair t10s which have been fantastic, sound great and are still going strong. I wanted the bluetooth function so bought a pair of these. Straight away i didn’t think they sounded as good, though being fair they may well improve over time. It was the bluetooth that was a major disappointment. As soon as you connect the speakers emit interference which is loud enough to put you off using the bluetooth so what’s the point?. If you don’t need the bluetooth get the t20s for around the same price, they are really good.

Nice sounding speakers for a desktop and voice chat using the speakers is fairly clear. Only gripes are (as another user pointed out) -*bluetooth light flashes on and off continuously so it becomes quite distracting when you are working in a dimly-lit room. *no wire included for wired connection when it claims you can wire it. *slight continuous crackling sound coming from the speaker when not in use, can be hardly heard, but it is still there. Overall for playing music and making video calls they work great.

    • Just the job these bluetooth for my pc, keeps things smart & tidy having no wire that connect. Good sound produced especially with the tone feature.

  6. Why can’t they put the vital (not expensive ) part, the audio cable that connects the speaker to your pc in the box too.

I already own t20 speakers which are amazing, but i decided to connect them to my tv to improve the sound quality (much better than a sound bar). So, i bought these speakers for my pc to replace the t20 and that was a mistake. I want to be able to listen to music on my pc when i’m working and thought another set of creative speakers would be as good as the other one i have, right?.The sound is almost too clear (not in a good way. This will give you very hissing “s” in words and other distortions of this kind), with very little depth and almost painful to listen to (if you’re used to decent mid range speakers, you will hate these as much as i do). I think maybe putting the speakers higher up (above the ear level) may help a little (but i may be wrong). The tone control isn’t really doing much other than making the sound muffled and dull if you try to “add” more bass, but it does take the edge off reducing the excessive clarity to some extent (but it does not improve the sound in any way). Bluetooth works fine and it was easy to connect to. I am considering the fact that my speakers could be faulty, as most other people left positive reviews and i have no other set to compare.

    • Purchased these after my very old speakers failed. I like speakers either side of the sofa and these were ideal for their size. I can connect my phone via bluetooth and play media files, great, saves me fiddling around jacking them in. My only criticism is l feel they are too basey even with the base turned right down. But overall pleased with the design and volume. 4 stars awarded due to the heavy base.

Third rate sound is not worst their quality. The main annoying thing is they always ask for a new pairing after turning them off. This is the first bluetooth gadget i see that asks for pairing every morning. The only way to avoid it is to keep them turned on 24 hours. In this case a computer after turning on can find speakers automatically.

    • Nice sound quality and can be paired with 2 bluetooth devices. Annoying blue light when it’s on, but easily covered up. Although intended to be used in the upright position, if you want to lay them flat as i did (underneath my tv), be aware that the sides are slightly rounded, so some creative “packing” was needed to obtain a level surface.

In my small living room they are perfectly adequate; might not be the best hifi around, but they work and connect easily.

I went into an electronics shop a few weeks ago and tried out as many speakers as possible, looking for portable speakers that could satisfy my ears (that are used to expensive hi-fi equipment). After listening to about 20 speaker systems, i came to some little computer speakers looking unloved on a bottom shelf. To my surprise, compared to everything else i had heard (many up to 150 pounds), these creative t15s sounded the best to my ears, and i knew quite quickly that they were the ones i wanted. While i don’t subscribe to everything “audiophile,” i like my music balanced, in the sense that the bass not be so overwhelming that it takes away from other frequencies. The t15s mostly have this balance, partially because, unlike almost all the other speakers, they actually have a tone control, so i was able to get rid of a bit of the superfluous bass that they have. While a little tinny (they’re small plastic cabinets after all), i heard far worse. Sure, the cable between the speakers is a little short, the bluetooth sound quality isn’t as good as wired (no aptx, for those of you who are knowledgeable on the subject), and the blue light is very bright. But the only really important aspect–the sound–is very good for such small, cheap speakers. Bravo to creative for creating a product that does not completely follow the bass-heavy crowd that currently seems to reign. In case you’re interested, i compared these to harman kardon sub/satellites, all the portable sony speakers, all portable bose, the ue speakers (boom, etc.

      • Bang for your buck, something used a lot these days while we struggle to keep our lives running, while our money gets tighter and our bosses just get richer, so when it comes to buying speakers, or anything these days, you are looking for brand, quality and price, and do they all meld together and offer us the perfect package. So we recently scored a new peripheral company, in the form of creative, for our first review, we shall be looking at the creative t15 wireless 2. Creative have never been shy, when it comes to marketing their products and when you look at the box that these speakers come in, you can clearly see, they know what they are doing. Lets bullet point the main features first• dedicated tweeter delivers excellent high frequency performance• a large port tube delivers high output base• tone control that encompasses treble and bass tailors to your music playback• optimal angle tilt for excellent audio throw• stream music wirelessly from most stereo devices• 3. 5mm line-in for analog devices• headphones out for private listening• dedicated driver for distinctive midrange audioas soon as these arrived off went the sound bar i was using, and thus put in place, not because the bar was rubbish, because these look better with my high end gaming setup. These do look fantastic, with their black and silver design and its blue fluorescent light used for bluetooth. The front of the speaker has a shiny surface, so it’s not finger print friendly, but looks bloody awesome, the surrounding speaker is more of a matte finish, which is fantastic, as the majority of the time you will be handling the speaker from the top and sides. Setting up the speaker is as easy as eating chocolate, unwrap, connect, enjoy, a bluetooth enabled device will find the speaker wit in seconds, all you need to do it hold down the bluetooth button for a few seconds, search for the speaker via your device, click connect and done. When you first hear the sound, you might be thinking the same as me, not great, but that’s because you have not set the tone dial, i now have it set to max, which means great bass and tweets, and the amount of sound that comes with these speakers is enough for any pc order, to listen to videos, music or gaming.
