Camb Minx X201 Gls Blk : Minx X200

Cambridge audio x200 tremendous mini sub. I acquired this compact subwoofer for two factors. For starters i experienced been the proud operator of three cambridge audio minx min 10s since april that have been currently being applied as still left/right and centre speakers in a 5. 1 set-up and required one thing that would compliment these little trojans and also access the bigger slash-off point that these very little cubes require in buy for them to integrate very well with a subwoofer. Ideally i needed a sub with a slice-off frequency of at minimum 150htz. Next i required to substitute an aging and instead massive kef coda sub from the 90s which while excellent in particular for its time was battling with the high minimize-off employed by the min10s(i was generally enjoying this at the top of its array for reduced frequency htz) and also it was far too huge for my household welcoming home. Okay so i wanted something tiny, powerful and straightforward to match with my existing speakers so i figured it produced sence to go with just one of cambridge audio’s own subs. I would have liked to have absent with possibly the x300 or even improved the mighty x500 but unfortunatly finances had to come into consideration and these were 100 and three hundred lbs . additional respectively so i resolved to acquire a nearer seem and study some reviews for the x200 and it did seem to tick ample bins with its compact and simple to place dimensions, rms electrical power output of 200watts and the point it was created to combine with the min10s. Supply from marketplace area seller richer seems was speedy and effective and i experienced my x200 in just a couple days. The very first detail i seen when i took it from its elegant black and white box was its size.

Compact potent and powerful little bit of kit.

My philips subwoofer had develop into defective and i desired a new sub. I acquired a tannoy sfx one hundred watts sub from richer seems. I retained it for a working day and not remaining impressed with the general performance returned it the next day. I then sought tips of the staff members of richer sounds to zero in on a great sub. He proposed the cambridge audio minx x200. Looking at the dimensions, i asked him if this would be excellent. He prompt that i first listen to the functionality and then decide. He performed some tunes with good bass. I just could not imagine the bass it could make, specially in look at of the sizing.

Tiny speaker with a large heart. I purchased this mainly on its dimensions – i really don’t have a lot of space the place i wished to web page it. So i was ready to be underwhelmed by its bass general performance. It performs as well as or greater than any other sub-woofer i’ve utilised. Admittedly i have matched it with a pair of cambridge minx min10 mid-selection speakers, which are its normal mattress-fellows (the cross-around settings for them are particularly marked). Just for the record, the whole speaker array is becoming driven by an onkyo cr-n755, also from richer sounds. The mixture is fantastic and at a overall outlay of close to £500 pretty substantially unbeatable.

A amazing speaker that punches previously mentioned its weight and dimension. I have bought the x201 successor to this solution and am delighted with it. There is no major change other than the removing of a wi-fi relationship ability that was under no circumstances, in reality, executed. Sub-woofers can be really big beasts. This one is a compact nine inch dice so it is straightforward to hide or position discreetly and pretty simple for smaller sized / medium sized area. It is finished in a large gloss lacquer. It arrives packed in an almost sq. box, sandwiched concerning two polystyrene supports and contained in a protecting bag. Link is by using a co-ax cable if you have an av receiver. There are dials on the back to established volume, phasing and reduce-in.

  1. A remarkable speaker that punches above its weight and size. I have purchased the x201 successor to this product and am delighted with it. There is no significant difference other than the removal of a wireless connection capability that was never, in fact, implemented. Sub-woofers can be very big beasts. This one is a compact 9 inch cube so it is easy to hide or position discreetly and very practical for smaller / medium sized room. It is finished in a high gloss lacquer. It comes packed in an almost square box, sandwiched between two polystyrene supports and contained in a protective bag. Connection is via a co-ax cable if you have an av receiver. There are dials on the back to set volume, phasing and cut-in.

Little speaker with a big heart. I bought this primarily on its size – i don’t have a lot of space where i wanted to site it. So i was prepared to be underwhelmed by its bass performance. Cambridge audio x200 super mini sub. I bought this compact subwoofer for two reasons. Firstly i had been the proud owner of three cambridge audio minx min 10s since april that were being used as left/right and centre speakers in a 5. 1 set-up and wanted something that would compliment these tiny trojans and also reach the higher cut-off point that these little cubes need in order for them to integrate well with a subwoofer. Ideally i needed a sub with a cut-off frequency of at least 150htz. Secondly i wanted to replace an aging and rather large kef coda sub from the 90s which although good especially for its time was struggling with the high cut-off used by the min10s(i was basically playing this at the top of its range for low frequency htz) and also it was too large for my family friendly room. Ok so i wanted something small, powerful and easy to match with my existing speakers so i figured it made sence to go with one of cambridge audio’s own subs. I would have loved to have gone with either the x300 or even better the mighty x500 but unfortunatly budget had to come into consideration and these were 100 and 300 pounds more respectively so i decided to take a closer look and read some reviews for the x200 and it did seem to tick enough boxes with its compact and easy to place dimensions, rms power output of 200watts and the fact it was designed to integrate with the min10s.
