Arcam Logo Subwoofer – Audiophile Quality

I acquired this subwoofer purely as component of an audiophile experiment for music linked uses. Being aware of in progress that no dolby, dts or other film-related feeds will ever be despatched by it, the quick was crystal clear: audio only. It is now partnered with two check audio bronze bxii speakers. The design and style is thoroughly clean and basic, and resembles a mini-tower in profile: 280mm large x 280mm deep x 416mm high and weighing in at 15kg. The build excellent and end is outstanding and other producers could just take a leaf out of arcam’s restraint and stylistic directness. A single slender strip light major centre of the tower signifies purple for standby (which can be established to handbook or computerized) and blue when on. The bass reaction is agile, rapid and decisive there is certainly none of the usual sluggishness – nor laziness – that arrives with some subwoofers when you set a new music feed by means of them.

I bought this subwoofer purely as part of an audiophile experiment for music related purposes. Knowing in advance that no dolby, dts or other film-related feeds will ever be sent through it, the brief was clear: music only. It is now partnered with 2 monitor audio bronze bxii speakers. The design is clean and simple, and resembles a mini-tower in profile: 280mm wide x 280mm deep x 416mm high and weighing in at 15kg. The build quality and finish is superb and other manufacturers could take a leaf out of arcam’s restraint and stylistic directness. A single thin strip light top centre of the tower indicates red for standby (which can be set to manual or automatic) and blue when on. The bass response is agile, fast and decisive; there’s none of the usual sluggishness – nor laziness – that comes with some subwoofers when you put a music feed through them.
