Received my item speedily and well packaged i was a little worried opening and checking out the anker soeaker as i have purchased many through the summer for my children to use iaround the house and garden but they never last long and sound terrible, it was a happy surprise to find that this little attractive speaker surpassed all expectations, after a initial charge up i paired it with my sons phone and found this one touch button control easy to use, but best of all was the quality of sound, loud christ and enough bass and low tones only seen in higher priced speakers in fact this speaker was better than one i purchased fir my son at £50, anker has a nice metallic exterior and i feel was worth every penny in fact i’ll be buying more for my other children :).
Quite small, fits in your palm but decent sound and volume. I use it for listening to audio books and it works great for this as the undemanding nature of speech is well within its capability and it is very potable so i can move it from room to room with no hassle. It’s noticeably a bit out of its depth playing music you listen to but i have a b&o speaker for this. It’s ok for music you don’t listen to and just want in the background. It’s like a radio speaker really. No connection problems; bluetooth is all good.
This speaker packs a punch for such a small size and you’ll be simply surprised and amazed at the sound it outputs. But lets set expectations first; this is a pocket sized speaker, so small it can fit in the palm of your hand. It’s not going to measure up to your living room’s hifi system, or even larger sized bluetooth speakers. It’s strength is the mid-range output, which is what you want for a speaker of this size. Something to give presence without being tinny. Yes i listened to a radiohead song and was pleasantly surprised i could hear the bass guitar. The bass is not strong and deep, and you’re not going to get any sub-bass but it’s decent. Remember speakers are pushing air and something so small is not going to give you bass power.
I have to say that i’m very impressed; the very well balanced sound quality from this miniscule unit is simply astonishing – and i’m a fussy so-and so, (i’m told by my long suffering compatriots), so that (apparently) means quite a lot. The sound is full, composed without being too polite, and remarkably rounded in performance – i. Given the tiny dimensions, one doesn’t feel bass is at all lacking due the way anker have constructed the overall balance of the sound. The bass is also pretty well defined to boot, and not at all woolly. Treble is clean and clear, but not harsh and there’s a decent midrange in there that marries the whole thing together rather nicely. This will make you grin and have you toe-tapping away guaranteed. All who’ve heard it have been blown away by what it manages to do. In summary: very pocketable, very well made, sounds great and it’s also top-notch value for money; i can’t believe what anker have managed to achieve here – even the blue-tooth range is good.
I’ve owned a number of mini-speakers in the past, most notably the xmini-2 and my current favourite the xmini we. While the anker soundcore nano is a little large than the xmini we, it’s noticeably louder and has better low-end. It’s also cheaper than the xmini. Build quality is excellent and the finish is fantastic. Battery life obviously depends on how loud you play but i’ve been getting around the 4 hours that they claim. I’ve bought a couple for gifts and they look way more expensive than they are .
Anker Bluetooth Speaker, SoundCore nano, Mini Portable Bluetooth Speaker, Wireless Speaker with Big Sound and Hands-Free Calling, works with iPhone, iPad, Samsung, Nexus, HTC, Laptops and More : I had a mini speaker that i carry around everywhere for work conference calls howeever i decided to charge it via the mains and not a laptop so now it doesn’t work and i was looking for a replacement. I bought one last week because a review said they used it for conference calls but the microphone was so poor it was useless so when i posted a question on half a dozen other speakers someone said this one was ok so i thought i’d take another punt for £13 ish, and when i selected the colour and it was then only £7 i could not see how it would be any good. It arrived today and due to the weather i was working in the garden. Connected it via bluetooth and made a test call, i knew it wouldn’t be a fair test and i would have to do it properly inside but it worked perfectly, it even picked up a blackbird amoungst the background noise. There are a lot of reviews covering playback quality which is not important to me, so i thoight i leave one about the microphone quality – quite superb.
I subscribed to anker’s newsletter so was lucky enough to receive a money-off offer that made this speaker even cheaper. I use it in my hotel room to listen to podcasts on my phone, and i use it at work as a speakerphone either directly paired to my phone, or to my laptop on skype meetings. The sound volume and quality is outstanding considering both the size and price.
Wow – that was my first impression. The build is solid yet not heavy (which is a good thing since it is portable) and i love the soft non slip rubber base, what a good idea. Like the idea of the strap, would be even more impressed if it came with a cover. :p it’s much tinier than i expected which is a real plus and the sound quality for a gadget this small is unbelievable. So super thoroughly impressed. I’m not sure how long the battery lasts but seems to be able to last a while.
Ok the sound is not the loudest and not the best quality but the speaker was £10 so you can’t go wrong at all really. The speaker had a good build quality and is easily portable due to the size. Over all if you are just looking for a speaker to bring to the beach or to a picnic is a great choice. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
Amazing speaker with brilliant full sound. It goes very loud and it’s super intuitive to use. I always struggle with pairing bluetooth speakers but this is so easy. Plus it’s beautiful and matches my laptop. The colour is exactly as advertised and it’s got a quality finish and feels heavy. In my excitement to open it i accidently broke the little strap it comes with but i fixed it. Love, love love this speaker.
Bought this to use with my iphone in the car when using the maps app. Often find that road noise makes it hard to hear the directions, so this super little speaker overcomes that problem. I also use it to listen to music around the house in conjunction with my ipad. The sound quality is astonishingly good for such a tiny little device. I would have no hesitation in recommending this great little speaker – amazing quality and a very reasonable price. The combination of size, sound quality and price make it a no-brainer.
This little speaker is utterly amazing, for the size of it. The sound is really great, as it is crisp and clear and there is no vibration or hum off it, which really surprised me, for the money?. I hoped, from the other reviews, which were so positive, that mine would be the same – and it was, it is just great. It links to the phone, in my case, as i want it, for work, so i can listen to my own music, on my phone. It is going to be superb and i’m one, very happy, lady with this one. It looks the business too, as it’ll match my gold galaxy note 4 and the metal casing makes it a classy bit of design and build, as this is quality kit. I love it and i’m so chuffed that i have bought it. It came very quickly and the instruction booklet is just fine. The sound quality is going to amaze you – as this is, a no-brainer product this.
I liked the compact metallic pink look. Wouldn’t call it rose gold as such however it’s definately a good looking item. It sits on top of my plug socket charging and has a reassuring weight without being too much for your bag or pocket. As for using it, just press the rubber depress button on the back and lush over the activation sound. Then turn on your bluetooth, tap connect on your mobile or similar and press play: easy like a sunday morning. You’ll be surprised at the sound quality for the price. & though obvs it isn’t sub-woofer loud you can happily ‘take it to the bridge’ with your moves like jagger. . Please make a rose gold but more copper version.
After a discussion with anker’s customer service, we realized that my first order was a defective item. They sent a replacement right away, which worked perfectly ever since. The value for money is undeniable, this is a tiny monster in disguise. I use it in the bathroom as an alternative for alexa due to lack of space, and it is definitely loud for its size. *slow clap* for the gold tone, looks fantastic.
Tiny but with surprisingly good sound quality. Bought to take on holiday due to its small size, wasn’t expecting too much but the quality was really good. Easily charged, came with a variety of cables and a little pouch to store it all.
The soundcore nano bt speaker is around 2 inches square, and just over an inch high, and just heavy enough to stay where you put it. For a square box it is attractive (i have the gold), and reflects an effort to apply design aesthetics. Fits the palm and hand grip perfectly. I rated the sound quality as 4 relative to its size. The sound of this speaker far exceeds any similar sized bt speaker i have encountered. I have not encountered another this small. As one might expect it does not reproduce bass well, though it appears that anker have done some work to sculpt the lower-mid-tones to reflect the bass component of the recording, which itself is largely lost. Surprisingly it does not sound ‘tinny’ or thin, just limited bass. However, you do get a sense of the bass since this is cued in the mid-tones so that you supply it yourself. It is useful for listing to a range of music in a lot of indoor and outdoor environments, has reasonable volume without significant distortion, and can be carried everywhere in a small bag or even trouser pockets.
The speaker is very small and so far, we had no problem with connecting it both via bluetooh or cable. Sound quality is fine it is the volume that i found lacking – it is not a very strong speaker (but i guess that comes with the size and price)none the less, for an ultra portable, personal speaker this one is great value for money.
I love this speaker, it’s so small but it packs a punch. I travel quite a lot so this is a great speaker to be able to carry around with me as i’m always on the go. Connects via bluetooth and uses the same charger as my phone so it’s pretty much perfect.
Recommend spending moreupdate: excellent service by anker. Have tried their mini version now. Recommend spending more and buying the mini speaker by anker.
Amazing speaker – my partner and i stared at each other in disbelief when we first put it on. We couldn’t believe something so tiny could produce so much sound. Way better than any other portable speaker i’ve had, even ones that are much bigger. Thoroughly worth the price paid. Speedy charging time, great performance and good quality finish and feel to the product. I would definitely recommend.
Arrived earlier than expected. I was a little surprised to find that there was no volume control on the speaker but once i realised that the volume adjustment works from the cellphone volume control everything was great. My wife complained that i had the volume too loud. I bought something similar to this speaker but not this make and after a period of time it fell apart. This looks a little more robust.
One of the smallest bluetooth speakers currently available. Despite its small size it is a powerful performer. Even at a low volume the sound it produces can be clearly heard in a noisy restaurant. I purchased it primarily for use with my iphone 7 plus for those moments when i wish to share the audio produced by the iphone. I have not tested it with any of my other apple devices (ipad, macbook pro laptops) but i imagine the sound quality it produces would be just as good. The speaker can easily fit in the centre of the palm of a hand. It feels robustly built and will take the occasional knock. However, because of its small it could be lost or damaged so i purchased a small plastic case, with cover, to protect it. The anker speaker contains a small rechargeable battery, which can be fully charged in around 2 hours. I charged it when i first received it some weeks ago and it is still operating on the same charge.
