Adastra FSV-B Weatherproof High Quality Two Way Speaker – Well Built – A Little Bright (Treble) – But Very Affordable

Well built – a little bright (treble) – but very affordable. Only one word of warning – you will need to purchase 2 of these items as the cost is per speaker and are supplied singularly. These speakers are now wired through my 4-way speaker switcher to my back garden. They go surprisingly loud for such a small speaker, as they are 8-ohms they are ideal for most home amplifiers and draw a small amount of power so more than one pair can be used without overloading your amp (although my speaker switcher stops this from happening anyway). There is a switch at the back for indoor/outdoor and this sets the bass level. Bass heads may as well just leave it set to outdoor even if you’re using them as waterproof bathroom speakers. For bathroom speakers though you would be as well served with the ‘weather-resistant adastra 100w indoor/outdoor speakers (pair)’ as they are the same price and you get a ‘pair’ rather than one. The speakers are small enough to be hidden easily, are fitted with a bracket as standard (money saved there) and are shaped so they can be put in corners effectively. All in all a very good purchase for very little money. They are made in the uk by avsl group (formerly skytronic).
